This characterful 3 bedroom south-west facing house is on the Mother's Garden farm of Maggie Whitman, writer Martin Kirby and their children Ella and Joe Joe, known to millions from the very first No Going Back documentary on Channel 4. Martin's book No Going Back - Journey to Mother's Garden (ISBN 0-7515-3548-6) has brought visitors from around the world to Maggie and Martin's door. The farm of vines, olives and almonds is in the beautiful Priorat mountains, south of Barcelona and just 40 minutes from Reus Airport, Tarragona and the beach, and the location will appeal greatly to food and wine enthusiasts, bird watchers, walkers or anyone seeking a taste of real Spain or simply wanting a holiday with a difference. Children are very welcome indeed - and if needed Universal Studios Porta Aventura is just 40 minutes away.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in Euros exclusive of 7% tax.
During July, August, Easter week and half term holidays booking must minimum one week, Saturday to Saturday. Rest of year, letting may be flexible.
We have low occupsancy rates for couples or groups of 5 only using one or two rooms - please email or call for details.
Changeover day
Bookings for peak season are Sat to Sat, commencing at 4pm, finishing at 10am. We will be flexible where possible. Arrival and departure days may be variable at other times of the year, minimum stay three nights. Please ask.

Garden/patio area to the rear of the property looks onto the private swimming pool with stone barbeque and outdoor dining area under the pergola. Sit with a meal or a glass of wine in the sun or shade listening to the water trickle down the water feature and looking across the mountains whilst the children play in the pool.

Just a 35 min drive from the nearest beach.

Travel
Reus Airport is 40 mins by car - car hire recommended for best enjoyment of the area. Flights as cheap as £30 return from some UK airports *subject to ryan air pricing.

Marca (village with shop/bar) 5 mins, Falset (nearest town) 10 mins, 40 mins from Tarragona or Universal Studios Porta Aventura.
Further details
Famous for its vineyards, olive groves, scenery and wildlife, the Priorat is perfect for nature and food and wine lovers. There are festivals throughout the year, including a major wine fair in Falset at the beginning of May, a colourful artisan fair in Marçà at the end of May plus the great summer fiestas in all the villages - and a wonderful pace of life all the time. Marçà is just one kilometre away and has small shops, including a bakery, a chemist, two restaurants and a bar. Falset is three kilometres from the farm and has all amenities. The train station with easy links to Tarragona and Barcelona is just one and a half kilometres from the farm.
Booking notes
A 25% non-refundable deposit and completed booking form are required within 10 days of the provisional booking being made by phone or email. If the booking is made within 8 weeks of the start date of the rental then full payment is required immediately. The balance must be received at least 8 weeks before the start date of the rental.
