The apartment is light and airy having the benefit of full sun on the solarium all day, but keeping the apartment cool with sun coming in through a central galleria in the day, and sun on the balcony in the late afternoon /evening. The balcony overlooks the garden and park with a small play area and petanque courts. The shared pool is a good size and enclosed with a small paddling area. The apartment consists of a living area American/kitchen diner + 2 bedrooms + 1 bathroom utility galleria & hall with intercom. The area is very central and a car is not essential. Supermarkets, bars, banks and restaurants within 6 mins walking distance, in the Playa Flamenca commercial centre. Also the area around Punta Prima has some nice bars and restaurants with a more Spanish feel. There is also a very popular and large Saturday market 10 mins away, selling everything. There is a lovely coastal walk from Torrevieja to Playa Flamenca which also carries on to La Zenia & Cabo Roig and beyond.

Outside
Seating for 4 people. 2 sun loungers with cushions. Large shared pool enclosed and private suitable for children of all ages. Open 10am-10pm.
Coast/Beach
There are many beaches in the area many of them blue flagged as already mentioned Punta Prima and Playa Flamenca are only 10 mins walking away. 5 mins driving.
La Zenia is 10 mins away and there is a long expanse of beach with sand dunes behind, at Pilar de Horadada (15 mins away by car) plenty of parking and Guardamar 20 mins away.
Golf
There are numerous golf courses in the area. Villamartin 10 mins away. Campoamar, Las Ramblas.
Travel
Alicante airport is 40 mins away and is serviced by many of the low cost airlines & BA.
Murcia airport (San Javier) is only 15 mins away and is serviced by Ryanair and Easyjet among others
We can give you information on car hire and can arrange airport pickup on request.
Distances
Torrevieja is only 10 mins away by car. There is also a bus service available.
It has a water park, nature reserve, large marina, and a nice promenade for evening strolls.
Shopping is cosmopolitan with the Habanaras centre having shops such as C&A, H&M, Zara etc + bowling and cinemas.
Further details
Orihuela and Murcia are both old Spanish towns and are worth a visit for the flavour of real Spain.
Also in the hills there is a natural spa at Fortuna once used by Franco, a nice day out.
Booking notes
We would like a non refundable deposit of £100 to secure the booking and the balance paid 8 weeks before travel.
There is a £30 deposit which is refundable on return of the keys.
The cleaning charge is included in price.
