This spacious penthouse apartment is located on the Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort which is a secure and safe gated community of approx 2,600 dwellings. The apartment is in a quiet location a very short walk from the town centre, supermarket and pharmacy. It is on the third floor accessible by lift or stairs and is one of the largest on the resort. It has a large main terrace to the side and front terrace overlooking the communal pools and courtyard area. The layout of the apartment gives you the choice of sun or shade any time of the day. This apartment is fully equipped and furnished to a high standard. There is a large selection of UK and foreign TV channels available and free WIFI internet in the apartment. Facilities at the resort include quality restaurants, bars, tennis courts and play areas – it’s more than just golf.

Changeover day
Usually Saturday but is flexible and can normally be booked for any arrival or departure day. Substantial discounts will be given for longer lets. You will be met at either the entrance to the resort or at the apartment by the key holder.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with a king size bed, which can be separated into two single beds if required.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds.
Both bedrooms are air-conditioned with built-in wardrobes. Views through French doors to open countryside.
Bathrooms: Spacious modern bathroom with bath/shower over, wc, bidet and vanity unit.
Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob with extractor, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is cutlery and crockery for four people.
Utility Room: A washing machine, iron, ironing board and airer can be found in the utility room.
Living Rooms: Large air-condtioned modern living room which features triple patio doors onto both terraced areas. Outdoor living - this penthouse has as much space outside as it has inside. Television, DVD Player, portable HiFi, books and games are all provided.
Other: Secure underground parking with lift access. Our penthouse is the only apartment entrance on the top floor.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is non-smoking and is air-conditioned throughout. Gas central heating is available for the winter months. The apartment is in a gated community with 24 hour security. Suitable for children and families. Having three terrace areas allows either sun or shade throughout the day.

Outside
The penthouse is very private and has good front views over the communal swimming pools and lovely rear views over the Spanish countryside. The large main terrace has a covered area which houses a patio table with 4 chairs there are also 4 sun loungers. The lay-out of the apartment gives you the choice of sun or shade any time of the day. The front terrace has a bistro table and chairs. In front of the apartment in the courtyard there is a childrens play area and small pool as well as the large main pool which also has a jacuzzi. There are covered seating areas and showers beside the pools.

Coast/Beach
15 minutes drive to the Mar Menor sea. One of the numerous beaches around the Mar Menor can be found at Los Alcazares.

Golf
The golf course is an international championship 18 hole signature course (Par 68) designed by Jack Nicklaus. On site there is a brand new golf academy with professionals on hand and has a practice putting area and driving range. You are also entitled to play at any of the other Polaris World courses in the area.

Skiing
Skiing is approximately 2.5 hours drive in the Granada region.

Travel
15 minutes drive to San Javier (Murcia) airport. 55 minutes drive to Alicante International airport. Car hire is recommended.

Distances
The resort is close to many small villages which have restaurants and banking facilities etc. Los Alcazeres is a lovely town on the Mar Menor and has many bars and restaurants. The beautiful city of Murcia takes around 25 minutes to drive. Historic Cartagena has a wonderful port area and takes around 30 minutes to reach it by by car. There is a mainline station at the nearby town Balsicas.

Booking notes
Booking and payment can be made by Paypal, cheque or bank transfer. A £100 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. A deposit of £100 will be held to cover against breakage and damage and will be refunded after departure and when the apartment has been checked and the keys returned. The apartment is managed by a professional local agency who will meet you and be available during your stay.

Hello, my name is Douglas, I am a self-employed Engineer and part-time landlord. My wife Nicola is an admin assistant. We both love to travel and visit places of interest. My wife and I have been renting quality properties since 1993.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
This property was bought primarily for investment reasons with occasional use by myself and my wife. Murcia is a beautiful area with many things to see and places to visit. The resort is easily reached by many of the low-cost airlines from the UK in around 2 hours.

Unique benefits of the property
Our Penthouse is almost twice as large as a standard apartment at La Torre and benefits from large terraces on 3 sides offering sunshine or shade all day. The rear terrace is very private and is not overlooked. The apartment is located on a quiet location but only 5 minutes walk from the bars and restaurants. Everything you need for a relaxing time is inside this resort including Supermarket, Restaurants and Bars. The resort is also very safe and secure and has security patrolling 24 hours a day.
