La Pisa is a pretty guesthouse located in the tranquil village of Aniezo, 9 km from the market town of Potes in the Picos de Europa. It is ideally placed to visit either popular tourist venues or get off the beaten track and explore the Picos de Europa. La Pisa is open all year round and has 8 en-suite rooms, bar, restaurant, terrace, garden and private parking. The village is located in the Liebana valley, considered the sunniest in the Picos! The pretty village green is a place to relax and picnic along the banks of the brook and is a good starting point for local walks or mountain bike trails.

Outside
The guesthouse has an elevated garden to the front with clear views of the valley and Picos mountains. The sunny terrace has tables and chairs with sun canopies and is ideal for drinks, lunch and evening meals.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is a 45 minute drive from the guesthouse through the spectacular Hermida Gorge to the coast. There are a number of beaches to visit driving either east or west along the coast, most with parking facilites, cafes and toilets.
Golf
The nearest golf course is a 35 minute drive to San Vicente de la Baquera on the coast through the spectacular Hermida Gorge.
Skiing
Off piste and cross country skiing is a 30 minute drive up the valley to Fuente De. The cable car operates from February to November and goes from Fuente De up into the Picos mountains.
Special interest holidays
We run painting holidays with accomplished artist Pam Bolton. She has a BA Hons. in Fine and Applied Art from Hull University. She has owned a property in Aniezo for the last four years and prior to that visited the area over many years. She has gained a knowledge of the wildlife in particular the fauna and has a great knowledge of sites in the area that are an inspiration to any artist. Please visit our website for further details.
Travel
Santander Airport and Santander Ferry Port are the nearest arrival points at one and a half hours drive away. There is also an airport and ferry port at Bilbao, two and a half hours drive away. Oviedo airport is two and a half hours drive away.
Car hire is available at the airport terminals. We recommend you have the use of a car for easy access to the guesthouse and the surrounding area. Public transport is available including train, bus and taxi but access is limited to some of the valleys.
