Set in the peace and tranquility of the Andalucian countryside, this beautiful villa has the most stunning views across the valleys and pueblos blancos (white villages). The property has its own private pool, gardens and patios. There is a brick built barbecue and covered seating area for dining "al-fresco". The villa is extremely spacious and provides exceptional comfort. The village of Colmenar, located a short drive away provides an excellent selection of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, 24 hour medical centre and bustling weekly market. Casa Bellavista is an ideal base for day trips to historic Granada, cosmopolitan Marbella, Malaga old town, Nerja, the extensive beaches and excellent golf courses. Locally, we are close to the Torcal and Montes de Malaga National Parks, also a great area for walks, cycling, horse riding etc. Along the coast there are excellent shopping complexes, water parks, marinas, zoos and cinema complexes.Tree house, wendy house and trampoline

Changeover day
Changeover Saturday, flexible out of season. Arrivals after 5 pm. Departures before 10am. We are always willing to accommodate your requirements and can be more flexible out of season, especially if we do not have a preceeding/following booking.

Kitchen: The open plan kitchen is decorated with typical Andalucian tiles and is fitted with a gas oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge/freezer. The dining area at the side of the kitchen with large wooden table and six chairs.
Utility Room: The separate utility room has a washing machine.Tumble dryer available in winter.
Living Rooms: The spacious and airy lounge area has two large sofas, windows with spectacular views, satelite tv and dvd, cd player, wood burning stove, and a selection of books, games and dvds. Large patio doors open out onto the patio/pool/garden areas.

The property is cleaned for arrival of every arrival. Fresh linen/towels are provided (not beach towels), and linen ischanged on a weekly basis. Extra cleaning can be arranged. Iron/ironing board/clothes dryer provided. All inclusive/B & B now available.

Notes on accommodation
The property is located in the grounds of an old Andalucian farmhouse (where we live) but is totally private with your own entrance, own private pool and gardens. However if you have any questions or queries we are on hand to help out. Cot and high chair can be provided on request free of charge. Starter packs can be provided for your arrival eg milk, local cheese and wines, bread etc. We provide a comprehensive guide to the area, its facilities and local festivals.
Direct internet and wifi available, please request, 15 euros per week.

Accessibility
The property is located 4.5 kms out of the village of Colmenar on a good tarmac road with the last 300 metres down our private drive track. There are steps down to the villa from parking area, but the property itself is all on one level and very spacious with no interior steps. There are 3/4 very wide steps down to the pool area, and all outside areas are paved. Supervision is required at all times especially with children around the pool area/gardens/banks which are unfamiliar to them.

Outside
Casa Bellavista has its own private pool (approx 6 x4m) and planted gardens. The specacular location, hence the name, enables you to enjoy the panoramic views from the property, own private pool area and gardens. A brick built barbecue is provide as well as a smaller portable one. There are ample sunloungers, parasols, a table and chairs for dining "al-fresco" under a shaded area, all to ensure your comfort during your stay. Direct and easy access from pool and gardens into the property. Ample parking.Childrens play area(shared with another house), tree house, trampoline, wendy house, sand pit We keep chickens only a short walk away who can be fed and fresh eggs collected. The property is located in the extensive grounds of a 200 year old Andalucian farmhouse, but is totally independant with own access , own pool and own gardens. Some distant noise may be heard on occasion from other property.

There are a vast selection of beaches to choose from, the nearest being approx 30 mins by car. Due to our location visiting the west or east of Malaga coast is a comfortable drive.

The popular ski resort of Sierra Nevada, near Granada is less than 2 hours drive. A comprehensive selection of pistes for all levels, ski school, equipment hire, snow boarding and a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Special interest holidays
Cookery courses/ demonstrations of regional dishes, yoga classes, walking tours available. Riding stables 25 mins.

Malaga airport is approx 35 mins drive

The property can be rented long term from £500 per month, out of season, please ask. We are now pleased to offer Bed & Breakfast or "all inclusive", if interested please ask for details.

Booking notes
Weekly rentals are based on a maximum of 6 people (+ cot on request). A 30 % non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Full total price of holiday to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Damage deposit of 150 euros required on arrival, fully refundable on departure, provided there are no breakages. Any special offers are per week. Please request internet if required in advance, 15 euro pw.

My husband and I moved to this beautiful region 16 years ago...and are still singing its praises! Our children were born here and have totally embraced the Spanish way of life and language. We endured many years of toil, manana syndrome, heat, frustration, situations lost in translation.....you've heard it all in the novels! We now run our own exclusive property rental business here in this spectacular region. We have a selection of beautiful properties to suit most peoples' requirements, with private pools, gardens and fabulous views. It was worth it , sometimes we even squeeze a little time to enjoy the sunshine, relaxing way of life and fabulous regional cuisine....and vino!
