Our house has plenty of space for 6 people to relax and enjoy the terrace / pool and a base for exploring Almeria. It is on the high point of the resort, the shaded private terrace and garden look down onto the golf course. The pool is just a few metres from the back door. Inside you have an air conditioned lounge, heating and even an open fireplace. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and can sleep up to 9 if the folding bed and sofa bed are used. The resort hotel, golf club, driving range and commercial centre restaurants are only 10 minutes walk. The beach club with swimming pool, bar, restaurants, playground and water sports is approx 10 minutes drive. Nearby golf courses include Desert Springs, Marina de la Torre and Cortijo Grande. Nearby towns are Vera and Garrucha, a fishing port. Mojacar Playa and the ancient hill town of Mojacar on the mountainside are nearby. The rugged coastline of the Cabo De Gata marine reserve is 40 minutes drive along the spectacular coast road.

Changeover day
We do not have fixed changeover days and can normally accommodate an additional days stay to provide you with greater flexibility in your flight bookings.

| Bedrooms: | The spacious Master Bedroom on top floor has a double bed, TV, en-suite and terrace to relax in complete privacy. 2 twin rooms on the first floor plus a folding bed if necessary. All 3 bedrooms have fans, air conditioning, large cupboards and wardrobes |
| Bathrooms: | The Master Bedroom en-suite has a bath, shower, WC and bidet. A similar bathroom on the 1st floor serves the 2 twin bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a WC and utility room. |
| Kitchen: | The fully equipped kitchen includes electric cooker, oven dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. |
| Utility Room: | The utility area on the back terrace has a washing machine, electric water heater. Sun loungers and terrace furniture are in the cupboard under the stairs. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room has a sofabed, reversible air conditioning, open fire, TV which receives satellite stations and local TV and a DVD player. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and bed linen are included for up to 2 weeks stay. We would like our guests to provide their own pool towels. For longer bookings we can arrange an intermediate clean and change of linen as required. |

Accessibility
The house is not designed for wheelchair users.
Outside
At the front of house there is a garden area and patio which will comfortably seat at least 6 adults. 8 people normally dine together when we are there. The key safe is next to the front door.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 have small balconies and the back of the house has an outdoor utility area.
Coast/Beach
Mojacar Playa and Vera Playa are 15 mins drive, these beaches have boardwalks, playgrounds and showers. The spectacular Cabo De Gata Marine Reserve with its sandy coves, rocky headlands and fishing villages is 40 mins drive. There is good scuba diving and snorkelling there.
Golf
Valle Del Este has 18 holes par 71 and is 6200m long. Green fees range from 50 to 70 euros, course architect is Jose Canales. Nearby golf courses are: Cortijo Grande 20 min drive, it has 18 holes with par at 69 length is 4527m. and Course Architect is Paul Polanski. Desert Springs - 20 minute drive, it has 18 holes with par 72 and is 6200m long. Green fees from 50 to 70 euros, Course Architect is Peter McEvoy. Marina Golf 20 min drive with 18 holes, par is 72, length is 6000m. Course architect is Ramon Espinosa. Please note all green fees are approximate.
Travel
We are 1.5 - 2 hours drive from Alicante and Murcia airports and 40 minutes from Almeria airport.
Distances
Nearby towns are Vera, an old Spanish town, Garrucha, a fishing port. Mojacar Playa and the hill town of Mojacar on the mountainside. Other nearby attractions are the water slide park, Parque Acuatica Vera at Vera Playa, Sierra Cabrera and caves at Sorbas. Mini Hollywood (now Oasys), Grenada and the Sierra Nevada are 1 - 2 hours drive, it is therefore possible to enjoy a days walking or skiing in the Sierra Nevada.
Further details
The golf resort has a hotel, bank, restaurants, bars and shops. All local towns have supermarkets stocking excellent produce and international food products. Local markets are also of interest.
