Communal parking spaces. Walk downstairs to a choice of 3 restaurants and a cosy bar. Easy walk into village centre for shops and restaurants, 5-10 minues. Fantastic walks on hills behind house and beautiful gardens in Mijas village. Traditional Spanish atmosphere with village squares and churches and delicious tapas! Great photo and painting opportunities. Quick and easy access by bus or car to coastal towns of Malaga, Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerto Banus for great shopping and El Corte Ingles store. Multi screen cinema in Fuengirola (Miramar shopping centre) Blue skies most of the year and warm evening al fresco dining either at home with BBQ on patio or in a fab restaurant only a short walk away or at a beach restaurant.

Notes on accommodation
Ideal for people wanting easy access from airport and wanting to chill out in traditional pretty village, which you can walk into and home from. Perfect for a week or a few months. Can't wait to get back myself!

Access to house involves steps to unsuitable for infirm.
Outside
Totally secluded private patio with all day sun until 6pm with built-in BBQ (charcoal not provided). 2 sun loungers provided. Table and 4 dining chairs for external eating.
Coast/Beach
Fuengirola (10 minutes by car) has 9 km of extensive sandy beaches. Nudist beach at Cabopino is 15 minues.
Golf
Mijas is well located for beautiful golf courses. Nearest are in Mijas area 15 minutes drive.
Skiing
Skiing available at Sierra Nevada 2 hours drive.
Travel
Malaga Airport 20 minutes drive or train direct to Fuengirola then bus or taxi to Mijas Pueblo.
Bus routes to Mijas serve Fuengirola,(15 mins) Benalmadena pueblo (15 minutes) and Coin (30 mins) Change at Fuengirola for buses to Elviria, Marbella and Puerto Banus.
Car hire is most convenient means of transport.
Distances
House is in Mijas pueblo so walk to all local facilities. Malaga is 20 minutes car drive, with concert halls, the Alcazaba, Parador, Cathedral and wonderful shops. Take a trip by car inland to Ronda, Granada (2 hours) or Cordoba 2 hours and Seville 2 1/2 hours.
Further details
Fuengirola is a really Spanish town with very good shops and "Spanish" restaurants in the streets behind the promenade. If you want to join the English holidaymakers for pubs/clubs and fish and chips you can find them on the sea front. But go behind the sea front and you will find the delightful Plaza de la Contitution and suberb restaurants on the Calle Palangueros.Also a fantastic food market and shops like Zara! Mijas pueblo is much smaller and quieter and less tourists although it does have a superb curry restaurant! as well as really good spanish restaurants all in walking distance.
Waterparks are situated at Fuengirola and Torremolinos. Multi screen cinema at Miramar Shopping centre showing english films. Tennis at Mijas hotel, 3 minutes walk or Lew Hoad Campo de Tenis with tuition and mix ins available, 5 mins drive. Sailing and watersports at Benalmadena. Cycling and walking over Sierra de Mijas behind house.
Booking notes
Deposit of 20% payable on booking with balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. Full amount payable if booking within 8 weeks. A security deposit of 10% is payable against damages during your stay.

Many thanks for renting us Casa Cabrio. Its a lovely well equipped townhouse and we had a first class holiday, in the friendly and to us familiar little town of Mijas Pueblo. All the arrangements went as stated in your property guidance notes and we look forward to revisiting some time in the future
Thank you for allowing us to chill out in your wonderful house. It was everything you said and more. We had super relaxing time. What a pretty and friendly village Mijas is. It is without doubt a much better way to spend January than stay in the UK. If its OK with you I will give your details to a couple of friends as they have been green since we got home and told them all about your magic house
We would love to come back, its the best property we have stayed in in Mijas and despite the torrential rain thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
