Roda Golf and Beach Resort is the latest PGA accredited golf course in Spain. Our 2 bed penthouse has a large roof terrace with great views whilst our 3 bed ground floor apartment opens directly onto communal pools. Perfect for families and golfers the apartments are brand new and have air con/TV/DVD and Playstation 2 (avail on request at no cost) as well as large sun terraces. The complex has 24 hour security, underground parking and is less than 5 mins from the white sand beaches of the Mar Menor. Shops/restaurants/bars are all only 2 mins drive away.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Saturday - but will consider other days if needed. Shorter stays than a week available outside of high season (Fri-Mon charged at 80% of weekly rate).

Notes on accommodation
Both apartments have private underground parking. Direct access via Lifts to both front doors. Air-conditioning and central heating make these ideal apartments for all year use. The resort has 24-hour security surveillance and you have the added confidence of contacting our management company should you encounter any problems. A child cot and high chair are available from our management company for a small fee.

Accessibility
Both apartments have direct access via lift from the secure underground carpark or via ramps from the street. There are no internal steps in either apartment.
Door frames are standard width within the apartments.
Access to outside space is wheelchair friendly. NB: Roof 'solarium' penthouse is accessed via stairs.
Resort as a whole is level and has ramps throughout.
The beach has a long, level promenade (several miles in length). Town centre is pedestrianised and level.

Outside
The penthouse has a large roof solarium which has all day sun, garden furniture, parasol, loungers and seating.
Barbeque and water supply. Lighting for the evenings and sockets for TV/Music. The garden apartment has a large sun terrace with direct access to the pool.

Coast/Beach
Only a 5 minute drive away and last summer Los Alcazares was awarded four EC blue flags for its beaches. The beaches Las Palmeras, El Espejo, Los Narejos and Manzanares have all been awarded blue flags. All the beaches are connected by a 7km level promenade perfect for walking or cycling. The Mar Menor is reknowned for it's watersports and diving is popular from Cabo de Palos

Golf
A 20% discount is available for clients renting this apartment. The 18-hole golf course was designed by Dave Thomas; one of Europe's most sought after course architects and is managed by the De Vere Group, the same company that manages the Belfry in the UK. Roda has just been awarded PGA status and will have host a PGA golf academy.Sam Torrance is the 'Official Captain' and has recently commented that the course was one of the best he has seen in Spain.

Travel
San Javier (Murcia) Airport is less than a 10 minutes drive from the apartment and is serviced by Ryanair, BMI and Jet 2 with cheap flights throughout the year. Alicante Airport is 40 minute drive. A car is recommended to make the most of the area. We can recommend good cheap car hire if required. We can also arrange meet and greets/transfers from Murcia and Alicante Airports. Alicante and Murcia are around 40/45 minutes drive.

La Torre 12km.
There is also a railway station 5 minutes drive away which offers connections to Madrid and Barcelona if you would like to venture further afield.

Further details
Los Alcazares has banks, 3 supermarkets, petrol, cinema and many restaurants ranging from Tapas through chinese/indian and mediterranean as well as a good pizza retaurant (angela's)
The beach has many 'chiringuita's' which serve food and drinks with direct access to the beach. Weather forecasts can be found on website.

Booking notes
Deposit of 50% of booking value required to secure each booking. Remaining 50% payment + security deposit of £200 should be made within 8 weeks of departure. Either cheque or transfer in either sterling or euro's to bank account. The security deposit will be returned after a departure check by the in resort management company.
