Close to Puerto Banus and it's world famous port, bars and restaurants with all the high life and designer shops. The apartment is in a quiet and peaceful area, with easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out including some serving authentic local food. Only 10 minutes drive from the glamour of Marbella. The apartment benefits from 2 communal pools, each with a shallow end, perfect for the children. It is ideal for quiet family holidays with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. There is the use of a tennis court. It is in close proximity to 3 golf courses, Aloha, Las Brisas and Los Naranjos. There is off road parking with security gates and a lift to the property.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. A 25% deposit is required to secure this property. Reservations made within 60 days of arrival require full payment. If your stay is less than 7 nights an additional £75 surcharge is made for cleaning. Discounts may be considered for a long term winter let.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment has air-conditioning and heating. The terrace has a good height balcony rail. The pools both have a shallow end which is ideal for children. The apartment is in a gated community and has electronic security gates. There is a lift which opens by the door of the apartment and access to the apartment and the pool area is good for those less mobile.

Outside
The apartment enjoys a beautiful position in spectacular gardens which are landscaped and well maintained. There are 2 communal swimming pools, both approximately 16 metres x 9 metres each with a shallow end for children. There are sun loungers available on the pool terraces. The apartment itself boasts a large covered terrace which has a built in BBQ and dining furniture together with sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
Situated just 4km from the apartment, Puerto Banus is one of the most glamorous holiday destinations in Europe. As you wander along the waterfront you will be greeted by a wide array of the coolest bars and nightclubs, restaurants and designer shops. You can even hire luxury double sun loungers. San Pedro is approximately 1 mile from Puerto Banus heading towards Estepona. Its superb beaches are suitable for families as well as offering very good beach bar restaurants.
Golf
Andalucia is renowned for its top golf courses and the unique sunny and warm winter climate allows golf to be popular all year round. There are nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucia. Los Naranjos, Aloha and Las Brisas golf courses are all within 1-2 km from the apartment. By car you can reach La Quinta and Los Flamingos within 10 minutes, Torrequebrada, Mijas Golf and El Paraiso within 20 minutes, Sotogrande and Valderrama, (Ryder Cup - 1997, 1999 World Championships) within 40 minutes. There are approximately 20 other golf courses on the Costa del Sol within a 30 minute drive.
Skiing
Do you ski? Well now you can sunbathe and ski on the same holiday. The Sierra Nevada mountains are only 2 hours drive from Las Brisas with the Aneto mountain (the highest in Spain). You can hire all the necessary ski equipment you need. The best months are Jan/Feb/March, the skiing is excellent.
Special interest holidays
See another side of Andalucia. Why not spend one day of your holiday away from the Costa and in the mountains behind. Four-wheel drive trips, for up to four people, can be arranged to take in the scenery and culture of the Serrania de Ronda. Visit the castles and other historical sites, mountains, river valleys, White Villages and perhaps Ronda itself. Details and further information from Tony Bays at the contact email address. Separate historical, photographic birdwatching, or just plain rambling trips can be organised.
Travel
The main airport is Malaga at approximately 45 minutes drive with easy access and car hire facilities. Gibraltar is approximately the same and with car hire available from Gibraltar itself or just over the Spanish border in La Linea. It is important to note that the border crossing between Spain and Gibraltar can be very time consuming. For those wishing to spend more time exploring inland car hire is recommended.
Distances
Approximate driving times by the N340 coast road from Nueva Andalucia: Eastwards - the Cañada shopping complex 10 minutes, Marbella centre 10 minutes, Malaga Airport 45 minutes. Westwards - Puerto Banus 5 minutes, Estepona 15 minutes, Sotogrande 25 minutes, Gibraltar 45 minutes, Tarifa 1hr 45 minutes. Using other inland roads; Ronda via Marbella 35 minutes; Seville via Ronda 3½ hours; Seville via Los Barrios and Cadiz/Seville motorway 3 hours. Granada using the motorway 2 hours 30 minutes.
Further details
A superb row of restaurants is within a few minutes walk of the apartment, including French, Oriental and Scandinavian cuisine. A choice of bars, a supermarket, a bank an English focussed DVD hire shop are also only a short walk away. There are many day out opportunities in the region, catering for a range of different tastes. Far too many to list them all, but they include; The Selwo Zoo half an hour away; The Hippodromo race track; Tivoli World (fair ground type park) and Sea World in Benalmadena. Gibraltar takes less than an hour and a longer drive can ake you to The Alhambra in Granada (the most popular tourist destination in Southern Spain). The Costa del Sol generally is famous for its coastal resorts and golf courses all of which are easily accessible from the apartment. Marine activities available locally include swimming, sailing, windsurfing sea fishing, whale and dolphin watching and relaxing on the beach. All amenities are available locally including bars, restaurants, casinos, shops, banks, supermarkets, beauty salons, fitness centre, pharmacies and clinic, most of which are bi-lingual. The historic town of Ronda and the delightful mountain White Villages are close by and the cultural centres of Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada are also possible places to visit. Day trips to North Africa are a real possibility from Algeciras and Tarifa. The pleasant, white washed, Andalusian town of San Pedro is only a 3 minute drive and a pleasant walk in one direction while a similar distance in the other direction is Puerto Banus with its restaurants and night life. There are many activities in the area including golf, tennis, cycling, swimming, snorkeling, diving, boating, sailing, waterskiing, windsurfing, parasailing and jetskiing.
