The Cottage and Casita are housed in the grounds of a beautiful Rustic Finca, in a elevated position, with gorgeous views to Portugal and River Minho. Good sized swimming pool 'with a view' in mature green and secure grounds. Both have either terrace or shaded areas for sitting out, and have use of BBQ, and recreational areas. Peaceful area, with river, forest and hill walks direct from Finca. Sandy river beach, safe for swimming, 10 minutes walk, with many gorgeous sandy sea beaches within 15- 30 minutes drive, on both Spanish and Portuguese side. Good restaurants within walking distance, and in the heart of The Albarino wine producing area of Rosal. Lots to do and see with Celtic and Roman and other historical remains abundant in the locality. Water sports, riding, walking trips and cycling can all be organised locally. Changeover day
In season changeover days normally Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Flexible out of main season mid-July and August. Arrival normally 4pm onwards. Departure 11.00 am on day of departure.

Casita kitchen fully equipped for self catering, with large fridge and cooker, with ample worksurfaces. Outside is small covered terrace with gorgeous views with close proximity to BBQ area and swimming pool. |

Notes on accommodation
Finca Rio Mino is very suitable for families/groups or couples, as both units are privately situated in large attractive and secure grounds. A large reception room, private bar can be used on request for larger parties.
Whether you want peace and quiet in a lovely area or want an active holiday The Finca is an ideal spot.
Outside
5000 square metres of well kept grounds full of fruit trees and shrubs, with lots of shade if needed.
Good sized swimming pool, 12 metres by 4.5 metres, with a view of Portugal. Tables chairs, loungers and a shaded area included in the large relaxing area.
Good BBQ area. Lovely shaded patio area next to reception room, with views of fish pond and Portuguese hills.
Coast/Beach
10/15 minutes walk to lovely sandy river beach wih Tapas bar nearby. Safe for swimming and warmer than the sea. Lovely pine clad, sandy sea beaches within 15-20 minutes drive on Spanish side. Miles of sandy beaches with Atlantic rollers excellent for surfing within 30 minutes drive on Portuguese side of the Rio Minho.
Golf
Ponte de Lima, Vigo,and Monderiz golf courses within 45 minutes drive.
Special interest holidays
Wine tasting, we are in the heart or the celebrated Albarino and Rosal wine growing area. On site tastings and Vineyard visits can be arranged. The excellent Rosal Wine Festival is on 18/19/20 July. An opportunity to try all the different wines!
Travel
Porto in Portugal and Santiago de Compestela in Galicia are both within one hour 15 minutes drive on good roads. Car hire is essential to get the best out of this area. Unless you just wish to come and 'flop'. Fights with Ryan Air from Liverpool, Stansted, Birmingham and Bristol. ClickAir now fly from Gatwick to Vigo, which is 40 minutes drive from The Finca.
Santander and Bilbao Ferryports are 7/8 hours drive through lovely varying countryside.
Distances
Situated on edge of a small village, Las Eiras.
Near to many interesting towns within half hours drive, including Bayona, Tuy, Vigo, Valenca and Caminha in Portugal.
A little further afield are Santaigo de Compestela, Pontevedra, Porto and Braga.
Lovely fishing port and site of Celtic Village at La Guardia.15 minutes drive.
Further details
