This beautiful two storey building set in a garden filled with fruit trees and roses is ideal for a family or two couples wanting space and privacy. The owner has recently built a private pool for exclusive use of guests.There is a short private road from the main road with secure parking. The accomodation is all on the first floor (the ground floor is for storage) to take advantage of the views over the Corona and Contraviessa mountain ranges. This area is ideal for walkers with spectacular wild flowers and natural springs.

Notes on prices
The property now has a private pool. The price includes heating in winter. There are radiators in every room. If you wish to use the woodburning stove, wood is extra at 50 Euros per week. Please ask for wood when reserving.
A 7th Person can easily be accommodated in the reading room with a supplement of 25 Euros per night.

All linen and towels provides. House cleaned before tenants arrive and we can arrange a cleaner while you are here too. |

The house is centrally heated by oil filled radiators and this is included in the winter price. If you enjoy a woodburning stove we can provide wood at 50 euros per week.

Accessibility
Easy car access but stairs to the accommodation.
Outside
Large gardens with stone barbecue and pizza oven and dining area. Hammock and loungers in the garden and tables and chairs on the terraces. You can eat the cherries, figs, walnuts and almonds straight from the trees. Small private pool.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach at Salobreña approximately 75 minutes drive away. Outdoor pool at Pitres 3km.
Skiing
In the Sierra Nevada above Granada (approx 90 minutes).
Travel
Granada Airport is one hour 15 minutes away, Malaga 2.5 hours. A hire car is recommended although there are three buses a day from Granada.
Distances
1km from Portugos which has a supermarket, bank, bakers, chemist and Tuesday market. 2km from Pitres which also has an outside swimming pool in the campsite, a wholefood shop and Friday market. 2km from Mecina which has more bars and restaurants including one which is vegetarian and non-smoking.
Further details
The whitewashed villages of the Alpujarras are famous for their airdried ham and sausages but are very used to catering for vegetarians too. There is a vegetarian restaurant in Mecina and a healthfood shop in Pitres. Local bridleways connect the villages.
Booking notes
Prices. There are two price ranges; for 2-3 persons and 4-6 persons.To add a seventh, add 25 Euros per night. We ask for a 50% deposit by bank transfer or credit card on booking.
Credit card fee is 4.5%. The balance is payable in cash (Euros) on arrival.
