Marina Serena Golf Apartments are brand new apartments and are situated on the Playa Serena beachfront in the Urbanisation of Roquetas de Mar. Fantastic Location and Views. The apartment is just 100m from the Playa Serena Golf course and 5 minutes walk to many shops, bars and restaurants. This 2 bedroom ground floor apartment sleeps up to 4 people (5 at a push) and has a spacious terrace, private garden and underground secure parking. The apartment benefits from video intercom and is fully air conditioned (heater in winter). The main bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobes etc. and has patio doors leading to the terrace, second bedroom has twin beds, a couch bed and a window facing onto the internal patio. The apartment has a full bathroom plus a separate w.c. both finished to a high quality. The Kitchen offers fridge/freezer, cooker/hob, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. Leading from the kitchen is a utility room and internal patio containing washing machine and utility sink.

Travel
The Urbanisation of Roquetas de Mar is approximately 40 mins drive from the Almeria Airport. Approx 39€ in a local taxi (£26). Many low budget airlines fly to Almeria - Monarch, Jet2, BMI Baby and many more. Avis and other major car hire firms operate from the airport, and there is also a taxi rank. Malaga, Granada and Murcia airports are approx. 3 hrs drive.
Distances
Roquetas is well positioned to visit areas such as Granada (Alhambra Palace), Cabo de Gata, Sierra Nevada, Alpujarras, etc. Many of the spaghetti westerns were filmed near here - visit Tabernas and Albaricoques and relive the days of the Wild West (Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollar More, Good Bad and the Ugly).
Further details
For all you shopaholics the Gran Plaza shopping centre is approx 10 minutes (5€) in a taxi from the apartment and has everything from well known fashion boutiques to hardware stores. There are local markets on Sundays and Thursdays.
The salt lagoons begin at Las Marinas 4km south of Roquetas and are a good vantage point to watch the flamingos.
Booking notes
20% deposit required with booking. A refundable breakage deposit of £50 is to be paid with balance. This will be held against possible accidental damage and is refundable upon return to the UK provided there is no damage and keys are returned. Final balance will be required 8 weeks prior to your departure.
