Montes Negros is located near the hamlet of Rubite in La Axarquia region and offers comfortable, rustic accommodation at a traditionally restored hillside farmhouse adjoining the main house. It has its own entrance and private terrace and is set in 7 acres of private land amidst almond and olive trees, only 1 hour drive from Malaga. This tranquil retreat enjoys stunning mountain views and is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of every day life. You can choose self-catering or B&B (except July and August) and evening meals can be provided. We can arrange car hire and offer a welcome pack of groceries. Organic bread, eggs and fruit and vegetable are also available to buy in season. Children and pets are welcome and there is a play park available for the kids. Price includes a box of wood for the woodstove in winter.

| Living Rooms: | This very spacious room has been beautifully decorated and furnished and includes a dining area, a stone seating area plus a very comfortable double sofa bed. TV and CD player provided, and woodstove for use in winter. |

Towels plus extra towels for beach are provided as is fresh bedlinen, changed every week. |

Children are very welcome as are pets. Broadband internet connection is available, ideal for those bringing their own laptop as they can simply plug in, or use of owners computer at their discretion.

Sadly this property would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems as it is built on 2 levels.
Outside
The cottage is set in olive and almond groves with superb views and an organic garden. The large private terrace includes patio table and chairs and sun loungers as well as a shade area and a BBQ, with a complimentary bag of charcoal included.
Coast/Beach
We are 20 mins from Torre del Mar beach, with all the facilites provided by a bustling town with bars, tapas, supermarkets and nightlife.
Golf
There are golf course all along the coast, a 20 minute drive away. Or you can go inland towards Antequera and enjoy golf by the Torqual National Park, stopping off in Antequera to enjoy the sights as well.
Special interest holidays
We aim to provide you with a stress free holiday to remember. Organic evening meals can be provided for those who don't wish to take the car out in the evening ( except July and August ), and can be served on the terrace. Special diets can also be provided for.
Travel
Malaga airport is 1 hour away. Granada 1½ hour drive. We can provide car hire if required using a reputable company with reasonable rates who offer meet and greet.
Distances
Other places of interest include the local white Andalucian villages dotted everywhere, within half an hour - Alcaucin, Benamargosa, La Viñuela, Comares, Zafarraya etc. Granada and la Alahambra is 1 and a half hour's drive away, Malaga is 40 mins.
Booking notes
Book direct with owners on contact details given. 25% deposit required on booking with balance due on arrival. Any breakages must be paid for, however we don't take a deposit for breakages preferring to rely on tenants' honesty.
