This is an idyllic setting in a beautiful rural location with stunning mountain views and pleasant walks. The area is flat enough for cycling. The village boasts 3 restaurants which serves menu of the day, 2 small supermarkets, a baker, a local chemist, and a hair dressing salon. The nearest beach, Taverna Playa is only 15 minutes drive and the town of Tavernesde la Validigna is 10 minutes away. Alzira with its busy shops, restaurants and nightlife is 8 minutes away. Gandia beach, reputedly the best in Europe with its white sandy beaches and beautiful promenade is 20 minutes drive away. A visit to Valencia is recommended by train, it’s very easy. Here there are so many things to see and do. For the more discerning holiday makers Benidorm with its teeming nightlife and theme park is about an hours drive. A car is essential to fully appreciate this Spanish location. There is no smoking within the villa, we thank you for your cooperation.

Changeover day
Change over day is on Saturday, you are required to vacate the villa before 10 o'clock with arrival time at 2 o'clock. Times are flexible where possible.

This is one of the best-known and most emblematic festivals in Spain which continues to grow in popularity each year. Tens of thousands of visitors join the whole city of Valencia in this festival of fire, in a mood of excitement and gaiety. Fallas are giant figures built of papier mache, wood and wax, and which represent personalities and current events of the day. They may be symbolic or satirical in theme, realistic or comic-strip in style. Certainly they are elaborate, built with consummate care in different workshops around the city, over the course of the year. Known locally as "Ninots", they go up in flames on StJoseph's Night (19 March), reaching a blazing climax near midnight, when flames leap skywards all over the city centre and thousands of fireworks discharge over the rooftops. Events unfold over several days beforehand, divided into Exaltation (Offering of Flowers), the Crida, the Procession of the "Ninots", the Offering of Flowers, the "Planta" (placing) and the "Crema" (conflagration). One "Ninot" is saved from the flames each year, to join previous winners in the Museum of the Ninot. Also the America's Cup is back in Valencia July October November fantastic to watch, and not forgetting the Grand Prix in August.
Booking notes
Price per week - low season from 300 euros per week. High season 650 euros per week. A non refundable deposit of 150euros will secure your booking and is required to be paid On confirmation of your booking. Special rates available for long-term renters. Keys are available at 2 pm on the day of arrival and the villa should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. A welcome pack will be provided.

I have a comment book in the villa and I have had some very good comments from past renters, some whom have returned for a second and third visits. The renters have never been concerned about my presence on site, in fact they have been very pleased and very greatfull for the help addvice and suggestions I have made.

About the owner
I live on the site in an apartment totally independent of the villa I am here to meet and greet the renters give advice if needed to look after the swimming pool and to attend to the gardens. I am out most days doing other jobs I have a wonderful dog who comes everywhere with me every body loves her.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
It is a perfect location nestled in a valley surrounded with orange groves ideal for walks on the flat or mountain routes. You can get to Valencia by train very easy 25 mins the beaches are the among the best you can find.
