Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday, however this can be flexible, particularly outside the peak holiday times. You are normally expected to depart the accommodation by 10am on the morning of departure.

Notes on accommodation
The villa benefits from reverse air conditioning ensuring everyone is "cool" through the hot long summer months and back-up heating, if required in the winter. Car parking is provided immediately adjacent to the villa, hence unlike the vast majority of accommodation in the Los Altos community, their is easy access for baggage and suitcases etc.
The living accommodation is all on 1 level, hence child friendly, with bedrooms on the lower floor.
Their are 2 large secure sun terraces, with patio furniture and a large parasol to provide much needed protection from the hot sun.
There are 3 communal swimming pools to choose from, the closest within 70/80 yards.
Accessibility
The accommodation would not be suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
The villa is situated within communal gardens, however benefits from 2 large sun terraces with built-in BBQ. We have provided a large patio table with seating, large sun parasol and sun loungers.
Their are 3 Los Altos communal pools to choose from, the nearest within a very short walking distance. Even in the height of summer it is vary rare that you would be cramped for space and often have the pool area to yourselves.
For those who prefer it a little lively the La Manga Club facilities at the Tennis Club, with two large pool areas, shops, creche, restaurants, cafes, bars and crazy golf etc are within a short walk.
Coast/Beach
If it is rest and relaxation you require then stunning beaches of the Med and the Mar Menor are within easy reach of La Manga Club or just relax by 1 of the numerous pools on the resort. For the ultimate in relaxation pamper yourself with a massage at the Las Lomas Spa.
Golf
La Manga Club has been voted Europe’s top resort for golfing holidays three times in the last five years. It is not surprising that the golf courses at La Manga Club are of exceptional quality.
Whether you visit La Manga Club for a golfing holiday or simply wish to play a single round of golf during your family holiday, you will enjoy the golfing facilities we have to offer.
The championship North and South Courses meander between palm trees, lakes and barrancas with both 18th greens finishing beside the hotel. The West Course is set in the pine-clad hills with lush scenery, winding fairways and numerous changes in elevation, presenting a challenging alternative. If you are on your own or with friends then you may wish to join the competitions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There is a pitch and putt course known as the Par 47, which is great for practise or a quick round after tea.
Thinking of taking up golf, why not consider joining the academy or take private lessons.
Travel
The main airport is but a 20/25 minute drive away at San Javier or using its most common used name of Murcia. Daily flights into San Javier are provided by most if not all of the "low cost" airlines, including; Jet2, Ryanair, Easyjet, bmibaby and Monarch, British Airways also have a scheduled service twice a week.
Alicante is another 45 minutes drive further north.
Car hire is available and recommended to ensure you can get around the resort as well as the coastline, towns and villages.
Distances
The nearest village of Los Belones is less then 5 minutes drive, with a typically Spanish feel and welcome, offering a variety of tapas bars, restaurants, banks and shops even its own Bodega, were you can enjoy a free glass or wine or two before buying.
The port town of Cartagena is a short 15/20 minute drive famous for the filming of "Romancing the Stone" with Harrison Ford, well worth a visit for its shopping, bars, marina and port.
The university town of Murcia is 60km from the resort.

There are also many other bars, restaurants and sports facilities and services on the resort. Sports/activities: include 28 tennis courts (50% discount for guests), coaching and tennis academy, football centre, dance academy, rugby academy, bowls, squash, mini-golf, Par 47 pitch and putt, bike hire, climbing wall, gym, large central pool, children's club/creche. The sa at La Manga Club is the latest addition offering a 25m indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, sunloungers, steam room, sauna and a wide range of spa treatments which can be booked separately.
Eating Out: vast selection of on-club and off-club restaurants including French, Italian, Indian, Thai /Chinese. Magnificient pizzas! Take-away service available.
Entertainment: the Hyatt Regency Hotel has a piano-bar, nightclub and casino. There are also several other bars/pubs and disco. Baby sitting can be arranged if required. Selection of on-club shops, supermarkets, banks, telephone exchange and internet cafes.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required with booking the balance paid in full 8 weeks prior to departure, short notice bookings payment required in full with booking.
