The Millers Cottage is attached to an old Olive Mill. Situated on edge of an Andalucian village in the valley of Lecrin where traditionally silkworms were reared for the Moorish Court of the Alhambra, today oranges, lemons, olives, almonds are grown. Surrounded by its own orchard of oranges, figs plums. The orchard is bounded on 1 side by a stream the Rio Santo and the other by olive groves climbing up the mountainside. It is 35 mins from the old city of Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace about 45 mins from the nearest nice beach and 1 hour from the ski slopes in winter.All year round walking, mountain biking, horse riding The Alpujaras with its Arab style villages is 1 hour away. Plenty of bars restaurants in the surrounding villages and plenty in Granada. Nightlife in the local town and Granada, also Flamenco, jazz and classical music concerts in the Generalife gardens of the Alhambra Palace and the Manuel de Falla concert Hall. Cordoba and Sevilla are about 3 hour drive.

Prices are for the property per week in Euros.
There is a reduction of 200 euros per bedroom.
1400 euros for 4 bedrooms ( surcharge of euros 100 if both both children's bunk bedroom and sofa bed in sitting room required.)
1200 euros for 3 bedrooms1000 euros for 2 bedrooms. 800 euros for I bedroom. We also offer 2 nights self catering at 80 euros per night for two people in one dbl. room this will not give you exclusivity.If you require a welcome pack (enough for breakfast) this is extra.
Changeover day
Saturdays preferred but can be flexible.

Accessibility
Regretably as the property is on different levels and the main stairs are steep the house is not suitable for people with mobility problems or toddlers.
Outside
The swimming pool is raised and enclosed. It is in the middle of the orchard. There are 8 wooden sunbeds. Plenty of shade and plenty of sun for sun worshippers. On the terrace there are more chairs and a table for lunching and dining under the stars.

35/45 mins driving to beach.

45 mins on the coast.
Skiing
Ski slopes one hour away in the Sierra Nevada.

Granada Airport 50 minutes by car or Malaga 2 hours. Car essential.
Distances
10 minutes by car to nearest village with shops, restaurants bars. 20 minutes to nearest small town Durcal. 35 minutes driving to Granada. Plenty of restuarants, bars, night clubs in Granada and Durcal.
Further details
There is no shop in the village but several in the next village 10 minutes by car and larger ones in the local town 20 minutes by car also in Granada.
