This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (master en-suite) air-conditioned luxury family apartment is in the complex of La Hacienda de Mijas Golf, 25km from Malaga Airport. The property offers a large living area with open plan dining room, fitted kitchen, spacious bedrooms (all with single beds) and a large terrace and private garden which catches the sun all day. SKY TV (UK Freeview). If its golf you are after there are 45 courses to enjoy the whole year round, there are two 18 hole par 72 courses just yards away. We do not profit from renting our apartment, that's why you will not find any other luxury apartment in the Mijas Costa for this rental price.
Please note if you intend to hire a car whilst in Spain, you must bring your driving licence. (Note: Pools closed Nov to May).

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds and are payable into our UK account. We can also accept payment in Euros payable into our Spanish bank account.
Changeover day
Our arrival and departure times are flexible. Late/early arrivals and departures are not a problem so you can choose the best flight deals. No minimum stay, however for bookings of 5 days or less there is a additional cleaning fee of 55 Euros.

Notes on accommodation
This complex is ideal for children with 2 kids play areas and shallow pools. Please note that you cannot walk to the beach as it's a bit too far on foot. Taxis can pick you up from outside the complex and there was a little bus that passed daily when we were there in 2008. The apartment is fully furnished and managed by our friendly British management company who cater for all your needs. They also live on site. 24 hour security, video phone security entry system. Secure underground parking with lift access right outside apartment door. *Please advise at time of booking if the cot is required.
Accessibility
Ground floor apartment with lifts from the basement car park. Access round the complex is easy for wheelchair or buggy use as there are ramps as well as steps round the complex.

Outside
Private garden and terrace with table and chairs. Also communal gardens, 2 swimming pools, 2 children's pools and kids play areas, 2 paddle courts (Note: Pools closed Nov to May). Communal barbecue and bar area next to the complex serving cheap drinks and tasty skewers, chips etc at very cheap prices. There is a Spanish Venta on the corner which is also very cheap and has swings and a slide/climbing frame at the side. The 7/11 bar in the complex has WIFI and does eat in or take away food. The small mini mart has an internet area and they allow you to plug your laptop into their network direct if needed.
Coast/Beach
Fuengirola boast more than 7 kms of beautiful and well-kept golden sand, which is equipped with showers, sun-beds and shade, many sporting activities and shops. There are chiringuito’s and a wealth of fish restaurants with local dishes freshly prepared using the catch of the day. Most sporting activities take place from the Marina, from here you can go sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing and even charter a fishing boat for the day. There are various other beaches near by too.
Golf
There are 45 courses to enjoy the whole year round with two 18 hole par 72 courses just yards away.
Travel
Transfer time from the airport is around 20 minutes. We can email you detailed directions if required. **If you intend to hire a car in Spain, you must bring your driving license with you** Great train links from Fuengirola to the airport.
Distances
La Hacienda De Mijas Golf is located 25km from Malaga, 9km from the old town of Mijas, 20km from Marbella, 27km from Puerto Banus, as you can see very central to the Costa Del Sol. You can take the bus from Fuengirola to Gibraltar for around 10 Euros one way.
Further details
La Cala de Mijas beach lies on the coast between Fuengirola and Marbella. It is about 35 meters wide and almost 2,000 meters long and is ideal for children and families. Calahonda is the longest of the Mijas Costa beaches at over 4,500 meters long and 25 meters wide. This beach has soft, clean sand and transparent waters. Nikki Beach (Marbella) with exotic bamboo beds, alcoves of tee-pees and gently swaying palms this is where the rich and famous like to hang out. Torremolinos has several kilometres of beaches in excellent condition. Benalmadena enjoys 9 kilometres of attractive beaches with many water sport activities available as well as shade, sun beds, many restaurants and beach bars. Los Boliches beach is located between seagull beach and Fuengirola. This is a golden sandy beach which is well maintained and equipped with showers, sun beds and shade, sporting activities, chiringuito’s, restaurants, shops, etc. Playa Puerto Banus (Puerto Banus) is situated to the East of the marina and is protected by a jetty. This is a popular beach and a luxurious cosmopolitan resort that is the place to be seen, if your lucky you may get the chance to rub shoulders with the rich and famous!
Booking notes
Payment is accepted in GBP or Euros. A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required at time of booking. The balance is required 2 weeks prior to arrival, a 100 Euro security deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on completion of your stay provided there are no damages, items missing, and the apartment is left clean.

We purchased the property off plan with only a port-a-cabin on the site. We just loved the area and the proximity to Mijas Golf & Fuengirola.
