Overlooking the natural forested area of Masos de Pals and the valley down into Sa Riera. This villa is close to all local holiday making amenities. It is detached and spacious and simply but tastefully furnished. The rooms are bright and airy and plenty of large windows allow for excellent ventilation. Towns nearby are the beautiful medieval hilltop town of Pals and further up the coast is the thriving resort of Begur with its seaside neighbours of Sa Tuna and Sa Riera. The swimming pool is 9m x 4m so has plenty of space for swimming as well as cooling down from the sun.

One of the best aspects of Casa Milly is the outside space. Terraced Mediterranean gardens lead down to the Poolside terrace. The sun/dining terrace with covered grass canopy is adjacent with plenty of space for relaxing. In the evening this is lit by solar tivoli lighting. The barbecue is lit by solar spotlighting. Private pool 9m x 4m is cleaned twice weekly during the season.

About the owner
We are hoteliers in the Salisbury area and love places with character and fabulous locations. This is our own home away from home and we hope that others will see it is theirs too while they are away. We enjoy the work involved in maintaining the villa and most of our holidays are spent in the garden or tidying the place up. Doing this we can keep maintenance fees to a minimum which means that we can keep the prices down (especially out of season). It also means that we can invest in improvements. Future improvements planned are: Pool covers to keep heat in, low carbon pool heating, energy efficient water heating, whirlpool bath.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We love Catalunya and originally our first property was in the Mountains close to skiing resorts and mountain hideaways. We decided to move to the sea for a change and are loving it. We love going for walks in the woods or drives to the medieval villages or mountains. Its great for visiting fabulous Barcelona or Girona.

Unique benefits of the property
Being on top of a hill, it seems far away from everyone but only 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive you can be surrounded by people. So you can have solitude or company whichever you want. We love the open spaces both inside and out where you are not too cramped even when the place is full!
