The apartment has an open plan living/dining area with kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The living/dining area comprises of a dining table and chairs, coffee table, double sofa bed, flat screen TV with satellite, DVD player, stereo and has air conditioning. Patio doors from the main living/dining area and bedroom 2 lead onto the balcony overlooking the development and to the sea beyond. The apartment is tastefuly decorated and comes with private underground secure parking.

Accessibility
As the apartment is located on the 5th floor it may not be suitable for those with restricted mobility however lifts and stairs are provided.
Outside
Alta Entinas has a shared swimming pool, beautiful well kept gardens, children's play area and a jogging/cycling track. The apartment overlooks the gardens and swimming area and is east facing therefore it gets the sun in the morning making it perfect for a lazy breakfast on the balcony before walking down to the swimming pool or beaches.
Please note the Swimming Pool is currently open from 15 June to 15 September.
Coast/Beach
Alta Entinas development is approx 10/15 mins walk to Almerimar's two beaches. Both beaches are blue flag and have ample parking, toilets, showers, bars and restaurants. Almerimar also boasts a 1000 berth marina where you will find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
Golf
Golf in the winter only 2½ from the UK with approx 9 hours of sun daily in January and air temperatures frequently up to 20 degrees Almerimar and the surrounding area has several golf courses to choose from.
Almerimar has an excellent 27-hole golf course designed by Gary Player in 1976 which is now being extended and refurbished. The refurbishment of the original 9 holes is due to be completed by the end of 2007. The course is situated in the town approx 5 mins drive or 15 mins walk from Alta Entinas and provides a challenge to all levels of golfers. Clubs, trolleys and buggies are available for hire. Approx 30 min drive towards Almeria are 2 more courses, Playa Serena at Roquetas De Mar which is known as the flattest course in Spain and La Envia just 10 minutes north of Roquetas De Mar. Many Tournaments and Society trips are held on these 3 courses with Almerimar making a great base for a 3/4 day golf trip.
Skiing
Skiing in the morning, sand, sea and sun in the afternoon - yes it is possible in Almerimar. Approx 2 hours drive away on a top class mountain motorway with breathtaking views is Spain's number one location for winter sports, the Sierra Nevada Ski Village where skiing is available from November through March.
Travel
Almerimar is approx 40 mins by car from Almeria airport. Flights are available from many UK locations to Almeria alternatively you can fly to Malaga and take a two hour drive along the coast road to Almerimar where you will see an amazing landscape of covered gleaming silvery plastic. This is where tomatoes, peppers and iceburg lettuce are grown.
Car hire is not essential however is it relatively inexpensive and is recomended to get the best out of the area.

Further details
Almerimar has many bars and restaurants and is still very much Spanish there are however a few bars for the brits such as McGowans Irish bar, Loch Ness Scottish pub, The Stumble Inn and La Plaza Cafe Bar. There are many welcoming Spanish tapas bars and restaurants in around the marina and main square. Almerimar also has Chinese, Italian and the traditional British restaurants. The local supermarket is a 10 mins walk / 5 mins drive from Alta Entinas and a short drive towards El Ejido takes you to a larger shopping centre and complete with MacDonalds. Almerimar has shops of all kinds including a pharmacy, photo centre and has cash dispensers.
Further afield Roquetas De Mar has a working port, traditional bull ring and a long wide sandy beach with many bars and restuarants. The Mario Water Park in Roquetas de Mar is a great day our for all the family
Almeria City is also worth a visit especially its 10th century Alcazaba fortress which is the biggest in Spain and the Plaza de la Constitucion one of the most beautiful squares in the city.
The province of Almeria also has its own mini Hollywood in the Sierra Alhamilla natural park about an hour's drive north from Almeria City on the N340 at Tabernas where a number of spagheti westerns were filmed. Live shows are held throughout the day, there is also a Wild West saloon, film museum, bar, restaurant, swimming pool and children’s playground.
Texas Hollywood is just down the road from Mini Hollywood at Tabernas, N340 from Almeria City and is a theme park and film studio where many westerns have been filmed. There are also live performances, restaurant and bar.
The city of Granada has some great architecture, art and history including the Alhambra Palace which is well worth the climb to the top of the hill to see.
Cabo de Gata Natural Park is one of the most beautiful and ecologically rich coastal strips in the western Mediterranean.
