Casa Serra is an exclusive luxury serviced apartment constructed in 1919 and covering 420m2(4520 sq ft), situated in the heart of Barcelona, 200m from the distinguished Paseo de Gracia Avenue and the most famous house (La Pedrera or Casa Milà) designed by the great Antoni Gaudí, Catalonia's most acclaimed modernist architect. Also 50m from the Les Punxes house designed by the also famous modernist architect Puig I Cadafalch. A 10 minute walk will find you in Plaça Catalunya, the centre of the city. This large and beautiful flat has the capacity to accommodate 12 people in 6 bedrooms, 4 of them are kingsize and the other 2 are queensize single. There are 2 double beds and 8 singles, all the single beds are convertible allowing them to adapt to one double bed or 2 separates singles.

Casa Serra is in the modernist Heart of "L'eixample" the famous "Expansion" of Barcelona in the 19th Century under the direction of the Master Architect Idelfons Cerdá.
"L'eixample" offers a wealth of modernist architecture within a 10 minute walk form Casa Serra, among these being some of the most interesting in Barcelona. Close by we find three major works by Antoni Gaudi: "La Pedrera" (Casa Milà), "Casa Batlló" and the "Casa Calvet", four by Josep Puig I Caldefalch: "La Casa de les Punxes" (or Casa Terrades), the "Palau Baró de Quadres", the "Casa Amatller" and the "Casa Macaya". Five works by Lluis Domènec I Montaner: the "Casa Fuster", the "Casa Lleó Morera", the "Casa Thomas", the "Palau Montaner" and the "Editorial Montaner I Simon" (currently the Tàpies Foundation).

Wow!! The first impression of this amazing apartment was “Wow”!!
Having spent one week in Casa Serra this past August, my husband and I know that we’re not likely to equal the experience on any future vacation. The apartment is not only stunningly beautiful, spacious, perfectly located and reflective of the wonderful history of Barcelona, its also convenient, fantastically maintained and replete with whatever you need (including every piece of cooking equipment you might want, guide books, lists of local restaurants and markets, even DVD’s and games appropriate for every age group). For us, it felt like we had the most wonderful of hosts--who was simply elsewhere during our stay.
