Ample parking is available with a communal pool to the rear. A rooftop solarium provides an ideal spot for sunbathing. For those that like keep out of the sun, the front terrace becomes more shaded as the day progresses whilst the rooftop maintains the sun throughout the day.

Notes on accommodation
This property is heated and air conditioned. Ideally suited for family holiday's. Guests will be expected to treat this property as if it were their own. This is my own house which I like to take care of. I try to keep the rentals costs down as much as possible. Thanking you in advance for your consideration.

Coast/Beach
A lovely sandy beach with beach bar and toilets is a 20 minute walk away or 2 min car journey.

Golf
On the outskirts of Alicante City close to the 7km San Juan beach is a modern 18-hole golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros and opened in 1998. Incorporating lakes and artificial rivers into the design has increased the difficulty rating of the course which has a par of 72, with six par 3's, six par 4's and six par 5's. It is a gentle course to walk around and its flatness increases the visibility; the greens on all the holes can be easily seen.

Of particular note is the 9th hole where Seve has taken license with an artificial lake, designed in the shape of an S, it gently curves around the green. Whilst on the 14th hole, golfers can enjoy having to clear the ball over a re-creation of Roman ruins.

Open all year (except Christmas) it has a driving range with 70 bays, chipping area, practice bunkers and putting range. Private lessons are also available for adults and children in English and Spanish.

Travel
Alicante is a 10 minute drive away. All amenities are within walking distance therefore a car is not necessary. Taxis are available and a bus service is available. The Phoenix restaurant arranges coach trips including Terra Mitica, Benidorm & Alicante.

Distances
Terra Mitica Theme Park, Aqua Parks, Safari Park and Benidorm are a 30 minute drive away. Santa Pola is a 5 minute drive away.

Further details
Local bars and restaurants and small convenience store are an 8 minute walk away. The local supermarket is a 20 minute walk away.

Booking notes
Rental is generally for couples and families only. £100 deposit is required to secure a booking. This deposit is also used for security against any loss or damage. This deposit is refunded (minus any deductions if applicable) after the property has been inspected. Full payment is required six weeks prior to rental commencement. No single sex groups. Any groups aged under 25 will be subject to a £200 per person (refundable) breakage deposit. There is a further charge of £50 to cover laundry.

Holiday in Gran Alicant. Mary Mc County Limerick, Ireland. Date of Stay: June 2010. My husband and I had a great holiday. The house was fabulous and very comfortable. The area is lovely with a good variety of restaurants and bars. The beach is lovely but is about 20 - 25 mins walk from house. There is a good bus service if you want to visit the larger supermarkets. We really enjoyed out holiday and would definitely go back again.
