The villa is furnished to a very high standard and the accommodation suits families or parties of golfers. The downstairs dining terrace which overlooks the private pool and landscaped gardens is ideal for BBQs and al fresco through the sunny days. The upstairs sun terrace is ideal for breakfasts or evening drinks where you can enjoy balmy Spanish nights. Central the resort amenities, including the 5* Intercontinental Hotel offering restaurants and bars and the luxurious ESPA Spa, pool, and poolside bar. Paddle courts, supermarket and cash point are also central. Los Alcazares is only 10 minutes drive and has many 'Blue Flag' white sandy beaches.

Changeover day
Saturdays are preferred in peak season. Off peak we will do our best to allow changeover days to be as flexible as possible. Arrivals are after 3 pm and departures by 10am. Weekend and midweek breaks are welcomed and priced per night.

Utility Room: Fully automatic washing machine, iron and ironing board, vacuum, wash basket, clothes airer, all cleaning and washing equipment, steps and boxed set of BBQ utensils.
Living Rooms: Large, bright and comfortably furnished air conditioned c/heated lounge/dining area. Sky TV (all channels inc. sports), CD system, DVD player, coffee table, two 3 seater luxury settees, dining table and 6 chairs. Patio doors to pool and garden area.
Other: Spacious entrance hall with stairs off. Upstairs is a large sun terrace furnished with a dining table, chairs and parasol. A security safe is provided. All bedrooms have hairdryers.

The villa will be cleaned prior to your arrival. A mid stay linen change is included in the price of holidays of 2 weeks or more. Extra linen/cleaning can be arranged at extra cost. Towels, linen, blankets and pool towels are all provided.

Notes on accommodation
For the comfort of all our guests we have a no smoking policy. All rooms are fully air conditioned and centrally heated which are included in the price. The telephone is for free calls within the Resort. A welcome food pack is provided free of charge as is a travel style cot and high chair if required. Additional baby equipment can be provided at extra cost. Internet access is available in the Villa at a small charge locally. There is also a free safe to keep your valuables secure during your stay. If you have any questions or are unsure about anything, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will do what we can to help you to enjoy your holiday.

Outside
The front of the villa has a lawned garden and off road carport parking area, whilst at the rear, a 6m x 3m private pool, poolside shower and fully tiled terrace all surrounded by raised flower beds and borders, potted palms and shrubs. Quality 6 seater patio dining furniture is provided and also 6 sun loungers and a large BBQ. The solarium on the first floor has also been furnished with dining table, chairs and parasol and is perfect for an early morning sunshine breakfast overlooking the garden and pool and evenings on the solarium are ideal. With the pool lights on, and a warm balmy night, enjoy a glass of wine. The perfect way to wind down at the end of the day. The rear garden is totally secure with lockable side gate, fence and evergreen hedges making it safe and for our younger guests. The complex and general surrounding area are very flat enabling our not too mobile guest access to all the amenities.

Coast/Beach
The Costa Calida has plenty to offer the sun worshiper. Most of the beaches along the Costa Calida are blue flag or Spanish 'Q' for Quality. The beaches are soft white sand and a great deal of care is paid to keeping them clean. Lifeguard and police patrols operate in most popular spots. Los Alcazares is the nearest beach and is a 10 minute drive from your resort. The Mar Menor strip of land separates the calm waters of the Mar Menor from the more vigourous waters of the Mediterranean.

Golf
The Villa is situated on an excellent 18 hole 'Jack Nicklaus Design' golf course. Weekly or daily tickets are available. Facilities at the club include; golf lessons, trolley hire, golf shop, driving range, putting green, pitching green, practice bunker, changing rooms, and showers Restaurants and bars are close to the course. Mar Menor Golf Resort is one of 9 Polaris World courses within a 25km radius of each other which form 'The Nicklaus golf Trail'. Our guests have the exclusive opportunity to play all 9 Polaris World courses, when complete, during their stay. Each course offers different characteristics and levels of play. At present there are 3 courses available to play. A shuttle service will take you between the courses. Other golf resorts in the region include Las Ramblas, Campoamar, Villamartin and La Manga club.

Travel
Many low cost airlines fly direct into Murcia, (San Javier) Airport which is only 10 minutes from your resort, and also Alicante Airport, which is approximately 40 minutes. We will provide directions and a location map for you upon request. Transportation to and from the airport can be arranged at extra cost. We can also arrange car hire for you.

Further details
The Mar Menor is renowned for its saltwater mineral therapeutic healing properties and the locals can be seen on the beaches soaking themselves. The original mud baths at Lo Pagan are a must. The waters of the Mar Menor lagoon are warm, calm and shallow offering safe bathing for all ages and the islands of the lagoon have been declared a marine reserve due to their exceptional undersea beauty and acknowledged as as one of the best places to scuba dive in Spain. There are also sports clubs, jet skiing, sailing, windsurfing, pedalos and fishing. The surrounding area has a wealth of history. The regions capital, Murcia city, is approx 30 mins drive and has an array of fine architecture, alongside one of the cosmopolitan shopping centres in Spain. The old port of Cartagena is approximately 15 mins drive and as well as being a bustling port has some of the finest harbour side restaurants serving some of the best fish dishes in the region. Visit the Roman Amphitheatre, spend time ambling through the streets, have a beer or wine and tapas For sheer peace a visit to the Calblanque National Park, 25 mins drive, is a must. There are many hypermarkets and retail outlets in the region. The Dos Mares Mall at St Javier includes many designer shops, supermarkets, restaurants, banks, cinema and bowling alley. There are numerous local markets held throughout the week. For our younger guests, (and parents), a great day out can be had at the Aquapolis Water Park approximately 40 mins drive north of Los Alcazares.

Booking notes
A £200 deposit to confirm your booking. Full rental cost is due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday plus a security deposit of £250. The £250 security deposit will be refunded within 14 days of the end of your holiday providing the villa and contents are in good order and all keys returned to our keyholder.
Cancellation charges:
Up to 8 weeks - Loss of deposit.
4-8 weeks - 50% of rental costs.
2-4 weeks - 75% of rental costs.
Less than 2 weeks - loss of rental costs.
