A spacious and light open plan villa which sleeps up to 14 with private pool. This spacious and light, open plan villa, is situated on the Costa del Azahar, the ‘Orange Blossom Coast’ of Spain. Located just south of Valencia it is an ideal base for exploring the city without the noise and heat. The new motorway built for the 32nd Americas Cup puts the new marina and Europes largest aquarium within easy reach. whilst the regular air conditioned train service puts you in the heart of the city without any parking worries. Set in its own four acres of grounds with a private drive and entrance the villa is a short walk to a small village and just a short drive to the beach. The villa has a large private pool area consisting of a L-shaped swimming pool with a separate shallow children’s area surrounded by paved terrace with brick barbecue and lawn. The villa rental is very flexible it can be rented midweek to midweek or for short breaks at a discount to the weekly price.

Outside
The villa has a private 30' x 18' swimming pool with a shallow area for small children, surrounded by a large area of poolside tiles with room for 9 sunloungers fenced on all but the gazebo side. On one side is a paved patio which houses the large brick built barbecue, gazebo, tables and chairs. On the other a large grassed lawn area for playing ball games. To the rear of the house is a large gravelled and grass area enjoying the shade of a large walnut and fig tree that provides a play area out of the afternoon sun. The rest of the grounds are given over to Orange groves that if you are here at the right time provide unlimited morning juice.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is about 15 minutes drive from the villa with plenty of free parking right near the beach front. The beach is 5/6 miles long. Sufficiently long to provide a combination of restaurants and beach bar areas with areas of quiet sand dune backed beach, ideal for families with younger members. The next beach along the coast south is Gandia with its European Blue Flag Beach whilst to the North is Cullera with its 2 mile promenade and water park.
Golf
The Oliva Nova golf course which was designed by Severiano Ballesteros is the nearest golf course to the villa being about thirty five minutes drive. The Oliva Nova golf club has an 18 hole course, 5 hole par 3 course, practice greens, and driving range, occupies 50 hectares of land adjoining the coast. The par 72 course measures 6,270 metres in length from the back markers. Water enters into play on 15 out of the 18 holes.
Travel
Valencia Airport 35 mins, Alicante 90 mins, Reus 3 hrs. Due to the individual nature of this location car hire or use of car is recommended.
Distances
The nearest village is 800 yrds, whilst the nearest town Alzira with a large shopping complex is 3 miles. The city of Valencia can be reached in 1/2 an hour drive or 1/2 an hour by train from Alzira. The village has two bars one restuarant, small store, takeaway food store, bakers and butchers.
Further details
The valley the villa lies in and acts as the gateway into the Safor Mountains which are well loved by walkers and cyclists. The valley has three monasteries two of which can be visited as well as several other historical buildings. For anyone interested in history or shopping of a more individual nature nearby Xativa home of Spain’s only Popes, offers a large medieval old town with winding narrow streets and a spectacular castle. Valencia's national park lies a short drive away with good scope for more intensive walking.
Booking notes
If you wish to rent the villa 25% of the rent is payable upon booking to secure the villa. The balance will need to be paid 10 weeks prior to departure. There is a refundable deposit of £300 to cover breakages etc. this is paid at the time of the final payment. Because of the air conditioning there is an electricity allocation of 350 KWh per week this is enough to run all the air conditionars eight hours a day. Thereafter there is a charge of ten pounds per 100 KWh.
