The apartment is located a short walk away from the beach and the beautiful harbour area of Almerimar and is close to Almerimar golf course. It is fully air-conditioned (hot & cold) and has an open plan dining room with kitchen and 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom. The living/dining room comprises a dining table and chairs, a double sofa bed and a flat screen TV & DVD player. Double doors lead onto a balcony overlooking the swimming pool, garden area and childrens play area. The spacious private roof terrace affords wonderful views and a BBQ and outdoor furniture are provided. The apartment has been tastefully furnished and equipped to the highest standards. Private underground secure parking is provided. The apartment is in an ideal location to enjoy several local golf courses and/or a Winter ski break with the Sierra Nevada a 2 hour car journey.

| Bathrooms: | The bathroom has a full bath with shower, washbasin, toilet, bidet and hairdryer. |
| Kitchen: | The fully fitted kitchen includes a hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, fully automatic front loading washing machine and a large fridge freezer. Washing/drying facilities are provided with an iron and ironing board. |
| Living Rooms: | The living/dining room comprises a dining table and chairs, a double sofa bed and a TV (with Satellite TV) & DVD player. Double doors lead onto a balcony overlooking the swimming pool, garden area and childrens play area. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bedlinen and towels for use in the apartment are provided. The apartment will be cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. No maid service is provided during a stay. |
Notes on accommodation
The apartment is located on the top floor with a spacious private roof terrace and beautiful views. Lifts and stairs are provided to all floors and to the underground secure parking.
All windows/patio doors are double glazed and fitted with blinds and fly/mosquito screens. The living area and bedrooms are individually air conditioned with both hot/cold provision. Smoke alarms are fitted.
Accessibility
The apartment is located on the 5th floor and may not therefore be suitable for those with mobility problems. Lifts are, however, provided to all floors.
Outside
The development has a shared swimming pool (open mid June - 15 Sept) and well kept gardens and children's play area. The apartment has a spacious private roof terrace with panoramic views across the natural park and sea, it has covered and uncovered areas with sun loungers and a small BBQ for typical Spanish dining. The balcony from the living area and bedroom has a table and chairs for enjoying the beautiful views of the pool area and sea.
Coast/Beach
Almerimar boasts wide sandy beaches either side of a beautiful marina which has 1,100 moorings. The nearest beach - Playa De Levante is a 5 minute walk away and in the Summer months this beach has two beach bars/restaurants with sunbeds and watersports. There is ample car parking, toilets and showers. Both Playa De Levante and Poniente beaches are blue flag.
Golf
The apartment is ideally located to enjoy Almerimar Golf which is the oldest and most established course in Almeria. Almerimar Golf was originally designed by Gary Player and has recently been redesigned to give access to 27 holes. Two other courses Playa Serena (18 holes) and LA Envia are a 20 minute drive away. A further four courses are situated a little further away in the area around Mojacar in the Northern part of Almeria.
Skiing
Almerimar is approximately 2 hours away from the Sierra Nevada where skiing is available from November through till March. Many people use Almerimar as a base in the winter months to enjoy skiing in the Sierra Nevada.
Special interest holidays
The apartment borders the Puntas Entinas natural park where it is said that more than 200 bird species live in a landscape of wetlands and savin groves. The nature area periodically receives migrations of birds between Europe and Africa. An ideal location for bird watching and walking holidays. For horse riders a stable is situated in the Natural Park at the side of the development. Sailing, fishing and windsurfing are also popular.
Travel
Almerimar is approximately 30-40 mins by car from Almeria airport. Scheduled flights operate directly to Almeria airport from the UK - Birmingham, Manchester & Luton (flymonarch), Leeds/Bradford & Newcastle Airports (Jet2), East Midlands (bmi baby from April 2009) and Stansted & Gatwick Airports (easyJet).
Malaga airport is a 2-3 hour car journey to Almerimar. Car Hire or transport to/from Almeria airport can be arranged. A car is not essential but is recommended to fully enjoy the area.
Distances
Almerimar 5 -10 minutes walk to beach and harbour area, 5 minute drive to Almerimar Golf Course.
Granada/Sierra Nevada approx 2 hours.
El Ejido 7km local bus service.
Roquetas De Mar - 10km.
Almeria 25km.
Further details
A local supermarket is located a 10 minute walk away, a larger shopping centre and multiplex cinema/karting is about a 5-10 minute drive or a short journey on the local bus to El Ejido. The nearest bar is approx 100 metres away.
Almerimar has many shops, bars and restaurants to suit most tastes in the narbour area., it also has a health centre, chemist, dentist, banks and cash dispensers. Hospital De Poniente is a 10 minute drive.
Roquetas De Mar - a 10 minute drive away has a water park, and aquarium and lots to see and do.
Booking notes
25% deposit is required to secure booking, balance to be paid 30 days prior to the holiday. A £150 damage deposit is required with each booking (refundable at the end of the holiday if no damage). Short stays (3 days and over) available. Changeover times flexible according to availability by prior arrangement. Off season long lets available with discounted rates. Local management company will meet clients with keys and will deal with any queries. Pick-ups can be arranged.
