It also has a large private roof terrace equipped with sun loungers and a barbecue for those lazy days enjoying the wonderful climate. Ideally located near the Mar Menor (a natural salt lagoon with no tides, shallow waters and a constant temperature) making it ideal for young children. Also close to the Mediterranean sea with the waves, tides and water sports enjoyed by adults and older children.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the 2nd floor therefore it is not suitable for the infirm.
Outside
There are lightweight chairs which can be used for the beach or the pool area and an icebox and picnic crockery/cutlery. Our aim is to make it a home from home so you will have a relaxing holiday.
Coast/Beach
The beach on the Mar Menor is perfect for young children. The sea is shallow and has a constant temperature and no tide. There are children's play areas, toilets, and, in the high season, numerous tapas bars this can be reached by car (5 mins) or walking (20-25 mins).
The Mediterranean sea is livelier, perfect for swimming etc. This can be accessed by a beautiful walk through the conservation area.
Golf
The property is in an ideal location for those interested in playing Golf, there are several courses within 15 minute drive ideally situated for Golfers. Only 30 mins drive from La Manga Club, 15 mins to Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Real Campoamor. New courses such as Roda Golf & Mar Golf are 5 mins. Mosa Trajectum and Torre Golf are only 15 mins away.
Travel
It is easily reached from Murcia (Jet2, Ryanair, etc) (10 minutes) and Alicante (BMI Baby, Monarch etc) (45 minutes) airports.
The motorway (AP7) is 5 minutes drive away for those wanting to explore further afield. (Salida 774 for those driving)
Car hire recommended (we use carjet.com).
Airport pick ups can also be arranged at an additional charge.
Whilst a car is not essential as amenities can be reached by walk. If you wish to enjoy the whole area you may wish to consider hiring a car.
Distances
San Pedro/Lo Pagan is a typically Spanish town with lots of activities, including water sports such as sailing, wind surfing, jet skiing, canoeing, fishing, para gliding, water skiing, boat trips, horse riding, bird watching.
San Pedro (15 mins walk) has a weekly market held on a Monday and Lo Pagan on Thursdays which offers leather goods, clothes, locally grown produce, fish, meat, etc. There are numerous banks, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and night clubs.

Mar Menor (Little Sea) is a unique area located on the east coast of Spain, within the region of Murcia, it is the largest salt water lake in Europe. Few regions have the good fortune to have both a saltwater lake and a Mediterranean shore but San Pedro Del Pinatar has both. The average annual temperature here is 17ºC and the average during the summer is above 21ºC. The winters are very mild, very rarely falling below 10ºC. Rain is also rare here. With over 3000 hours of sunshine a year and the mild climate, the water here can reach 30º in August. The climate is recognised as one of the best in the world by the World Health Organisation. In the winter months the area is lucky enough to have nearly as many sunny days as in the summertime.
Next to the long promenade facing the Mar Menor are extensive beaches such as La Puntica or Villananitos. This watery setting, combined with the facilities at it´s marina, means you can relax at the many bars and restaurants.
The local therapeutic mud baths are a particular favourite as they are said to heal skin complaints and rheumatism. There is a nature reserve located on the salt lakes. This area is seen of prime ecological importance, and is home to over one hundred species of bird and is used by migratory flamingos on the journey to Africa. The local area is very flat and lends itself to cycling with dedicated cycle lanes commonplace.
Booking notes
£50 non refundable deposit required at the time of booking with the remaining balance payable 6 weeks prior to departure. A separate cleaning charge of 55 euros is payable to our agent locally.
In addition a refundable security deposit of £100 is required payable when balance due.
