The nearest beach is around 10 mins walk, but a variety of alternative beaches are within easy driving distance. In summer a variety of activities are organised for children. The Portaventura theme park and water park at Salou are easily reachable by car or train. The historic Roman city of Tarragona is 15 mins by car or public transport and boasts some of the finest Roman ruins in Spain. Barcelona is 45 mins by train. Torredembarra is a quaint, typically Catalan coastal village, and retains its peaceful character, while offering a great variety of shops and restaurants. The nearest airport is Reus, about 15 minutes dirve, or Barcelona is 45 minutes drive away. It is also linked to the fast train between Madrid and Barcelona.
