Outside
17m2 roof terrace with views over the village of La Herradura where you can enjoy all day sun. There is plenty of outdoor furniture including sun loungers, tables, chairs and parasols.
Coast/Beach
Only a 2 minute walk to the beach of La Herradura which runs the full 2km width of the magnificent horseshoe bay that gives the village of La Herradura it´s name. A string of beach bars, restaurants and shops service most of the beach and there are plenty of water sports to choose from. There are approx 25 beaches along the shoreline of Almunecar and La Herradura, ranging from secluded coves to both towns main beachfronts. Most can easily be reached by car.
Golf
Within 30 minutes drive you can arrive at either Los Mariscos golf courses which is situated between Salobrena and Motril or Baviera Golf which is near Velez Malaga.
Skiing
The house is a just a 75 minute drive to the Sierra Nevada ski resort. Located above Granada, it has the best snow and the longest season in Spain. You can look forward to five months of snow. Sierra Nevada has 61km of ski slopes with 45 pistes and 6 off-piste routes. There are 2 cable cars, 12 chair lifts and 5 ski lifts. The ski resort is open from 9am to 5pm although you can ski at night at weekends and bank holidays.
Travel
45 minutes east of Malaga Airport. 1 hour south of Granada Aiport. Car hire is not essential due to the very central location of the house. The main bus stop is a one minute walk away.
Distances
100 metres to La Herradura Village.
300 metres to the beach and 20 metres to the nearest shop.
15 minutes driving from Nerja and 10 minutes driving to Almunecar. 45 minutes to Granada City Centre including the Alhambra.
Further details
The area offers wide range of sporting activities including diving due to the stunning sea bed and marine life. Windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, jet skiing are also on offer. The area is also popular for hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, canyoning, skiing and paragliding.
Booking notes
25% of the rental is due on booking to make the reservation. Final balance should be paid four weeks before arrival. £100 or 150 Euros security deposit is taken upon arrival and refunded upon departure after a full check of the property has been made.
