Moraira is a first class tourist resort with excellent facilities. It is a beautiful coastal resort with a cosmopolitan feel. The impressive marina is surrounded by restaurants and the narrow cobbled streets have a great selection of quality shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The beautiful bay of El Portet adjoins the town. There is 8km of coastline with magnificent sandy beaches including the blue flag beach of Moraira. 3 golf courses are nearby. Along with the local fiestas, Moraira has a large Friday market selling handcrafted products, fresh fruit and vegetables. Moraira has strict planning rules regarding high rise buildings, keeping the character of the countryside, which is dotted with independent whitewashed villas mingled amongst pinewoods, vineyards and orange groves. The villa is 1 hour's drive from Alicante airport, is south facing, and has lovely full mountain views from the garden and balcony. It is within easy walking distance to the beautiful resort of Moraira.

Changeover day
Changeover day can be flexible depending on bookings and time of year. Arrival and departure times can also be flexible, although on a day when we have a same day departure and arrival, the villa will need to be vacated by 10.00am and available from 2pm.

Kitchen: gas hob with electronic ignition, electric built in oven, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, 1 and 1/2 bowl stainless steel sink. Ample wall and base units containing utensils and crockery for 6 guests.
Utility Room: Washing machine, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board. There is a hairdryer in the villa.
Living Rooms: Lounge leading onto balcony with lovely mountain views. 2 and 3 seater sofas. Dining table and chairs. 26' LCD TV and DVD player. Satellite TV with Sky and BBC news. Selection of DVD films. Playstation 2 games console and games. Selection of boxed games.

Towels and linen are included in the price, but not beach/pool towels. The property is cleaned on arrival and departure.

 

Notes on accommodation
The villa is non-smoking. There are portable fans and freestanding heaters for the cooler months. Lovely mountain views from the south facing balcony. There is a travel cot provided. The villa has its own car port so no problem with parking. You can also park to the side of the property if more than 1 car.

Outside
Gardens to 2 sides. patio, balcony with tables, chairs and sun loungers. Large awning. Large and peaceful residents only pool alongside a smaller pool suitable for children, set in lovely gardens with mountain views. Residents only tennis court, recently renewed playing surface and nets.

Coast/Beach
Moraira has blue flag beaches with lifeguards and childs play area. It is approx 10-15 mins walk from the villa or 2/3 minutes by car. El Portet beach is 4/5 minutes by car and has breathtaking views. Both beaches are especially suited for families and very safe bathing. They both have cafe/restaurants next to the beach. El Portet and Moraira beach have rock areas to each side of the beach making it ideal for snorkelling. Along the coast are the larger beaches of Calpe, Javea and Denia.

Golf
Club Golf de Ifcah course is approx 10 mins drive away, with other golf courses in the area.

Travel
Nearest airport is Alicante approx 50 minutes drive along good motorway. Valencia airport is approx 1 hour 20 minutes drive away. Hire car highly recommended with plenty of choice available at the airport or in Moraira.

Calpe and Javea - 20 min drive.
Altea - 30 - 40 min drive.
Denia - 40 min drive.
Jalon valley - 40 min drive.
Benidorm - 40 to 50 min drive.

Further details
Local modern supermarket/shops complex 3 mins walk away. Moraira has all the shops, restaurants and coffee bars that you could wish for. Down the coast towards Calpe there are more bars and restaurants and shops, along a lovely stretch of coastline. Javea, Calpe, Altea and Guadalest especially are well worth a visit.

Booking notes
25% deposit required at the time of booking, with the balance plus a £100 security deposit, payable 8 weeks prior to date of travel. The key will be sent to you 2 weeks prior to travel. When the keys are posted back to us, we will then return your security deposit after the villa has been checked for damage or breakages. Long term winter lets available at reduced rates.
