Terrazas del Mar is a brand new minimalist style villa with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Salobrena. This self catering accommodation has 7 terraces, each with breathtaking open sea views, a private heated pool and an outdoor hot tub. The villa has central cold and hot air conditioning and wireless broadband internet access. What makes this house so unique is the fact that it is situated 15m above street level. Don't worry there is a lift! The original plot was a steep rock, which has been cleared at various levels to accommodate the villa. The result is a fabulous split level home that offers absolutely stunning sea views due to its soaring and dominant position on the hillside. The villa is great for adults or families with older children since each of the 3 bedrooms is on its own level.

Changeover day
Friday is our preferred changeover day.

Outside
The 3 terraces that surround the pool are very spacious (220m in total) and can easily accommodate everyone. The heated pool is 7m long and ranges from 3.2 to 4m in width. The hot tub is designed for 5 to 6 people. You can set it to the temperature of your choice. It can be as warm as 40 degrees so it can be enjoyed in winter as well. There is a communal recreational area within 3 minutes walk of the villa. There is a very large pool there, tennis court, table tennis and even a football pitch. Our guests have free use of these facilities. Guests have free access to the private, community recreation area that includes tennis court, football field, large pool, children´s pool, playground, table tennis and a kiosk selling drinks and refreshments in the summer.
Coast/Beach
5 minutes to the local beaches.
Golf
10 minutes to nearest 18 hole golf course. Setting very picturesque with views of both the sea and the snow covered mountains.
Skiing
Skiing is only 75 minutes away at the Sierra Nevada ski resort.
Travel
75 minutes from Malaga Airport, 50 minutes from Granada Airport. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
The villa is 5 minutes by car to the nearest shops and restaurants. Since the villa is not directly in the village, we have the best of both worlds - peace and quiet and proximity!

Salobrena, dazzling and white, in the heart of the Costa Tropical, situated on a hilltop overlooking the Mediterranean. It is one of the prettiest towns in southern Spain with its winding narrow streets and magnificent Moorish castle perched high on the hill. The scenery ranges from lush sugar cane, fruit plantations, rugged snow-capped mountains, coves and beaches, pine forests and almond groves. The area enjoys a sub-tropical climate, with a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius in winter & 25 degrees in summer, allowing for year round enjoyment of the nearby golf course and the various beaches spread over 19 kilometres of coastline.
Opportunities for walking, climbing, water sports (the beach is only 5 minutes away), golf (only 10 minutes to the nearest course), horse riding, hang gliding and even skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Nearby mountain villages await to be discovered where it seems as if time has stopped. Granada, the Moorish capital with the breathtaking Alhambra Palace and relaxing thermal spas are only 45 minutes away, Malaga 1 hr, Nerja 30 minutes, Almunecar waterpark 15 minutes. You won´t be bored here, unless you just want to sit by the pool and take in the views!
There is inexpensive excellent seafood, wines and local markets offering superb fresh produce. The owners live in the area and provide useful information on everything from sight seeing and entertainment options to restaurant and shopping tips.
Booking notes
Payment is requested in euros. There is a 30% deposit when booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. Payment is possible with Visa, with a 2% supplement. Security/breakage deposit of 400 euros payable in cash upon arrival. Electricity charged between 29 October and 28 April. Pool heating is optional. Charge based on electricity consumption.
