This detached villa set on 2 floors, offers spacious accommodation just a 2 minute walk from the nearest sandy beach, supermarket, shops and restaurants. The property features a brand new saltwater swimming pool (for your own private use) which is surrounded by gardens and terracing. There is plenty of private shaded parking next to the villa. Secure fencing and a driveway leading from the gated entrance ensure it is safe for children. The first floor accommodation consists of a large lounge/dining room with dining table and chairs for 6 people plus two 3 seater sofas and coffee table. There is a fully equipped newly fitted kitchen. The main bedroom has a double bed and ceiling fan, and shares a full family bathroom (with bath) with the second bedroom which has twin beds. An open veranda with seating area and table offering views of the garden, sea and Calpe rock is accessible from the lounge and double bedroom.

Changeover day
Saturday is changeover day during July & August (may be more flexible off-peak). Arrival time is after 4pm. Please leave by 10am on the day of your departure to allow cleaning before our next guest.

Notes on accommodation
Cot, high chair, buggy are available for weekly hire. The property is particularly suitable for children as there is a ground floor bedroom and bathroom, and the large garden is completely fenced.
Accessibility
Built on a flat area, with ample car parking next to the villa, the ground floor bedroom and bathroom are easily accessible for elderly people, young children and wheelchair users.
Outside
Set within a third of an acre of private, secure gardens with well established trees and plants. There is a brand new (for 2008) 11x5m saltwater swimming pool with shallow area for sitting and floodlit at night. This is surrounded by anti-slip terracing and a selection of local Spanish palms and plants. A large covered naya provides shelter from the midday sun and a great eating area, with table and chairs. The terrace with sun-loungers, table and chairs, gas BBQ and umbrellas provide all your requirements for outdoor life. There is ample shaded, secure parking to the right of the villa.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is just 200m away, whilst the main Calpe beach is a 10 minute walk away. Both are sandy, safe and clean, having attained the EU blue flag award. There are areas of rockpools and snorkeling is popular. Sailing and other watersports are available at nearby Posettes (20 min coastal walk or 5 mins by car), whilst Calpe harbour offers boat trips to Altea, Denia and Benidorm. Further beaches at Denia, Javia and Moraira are within easy by car.
Golf
15 minutes away from nearest golf course.
Travel
The nearest airports are Alicante (45 mins), or Valencia (75 mins). Car hire is available from Victoria Car Hire (see www.victoriacars.com). A car is not necessary as all facilities are accessible within a 5 minute walk.
Distances
Calpe Beach and promenade is a 5 min walk away, with all its restaurants, banks, supermarkets and shops. Calpe port is 2km at the end of the promenade. Main town of Calpe is 2.5km. Terra Mitica Theme Park, Mundomar Marine and Exotic animal park and Aqualandia Amusement Park are about 25 mins drive. Quadalest has a monastery and Museum which is about 45 mins and is set high, in the mountains, with the beautiful Algar Waterfalls on the way, at Collosa. Vergel Safari Park is 3 junctions up (A7).
Further details
A variety of restaurants are found a few minutes walk away, ranging from local Spanish dishes to Chinese, a Steakhouse and bar. The local wine from the Jalon valley is a must. A wider selection of restaurants are found along the promenade, along with shops, ATMs and cafes. At the end of the promenade is Calpe harbour with its yachts and fishing boats.
Calpe is a large, friendly town, with boasts 2 large beaches and many good restaurants both formal and informal. The old town which still has its original church, and traditional style, cobbled streets and Castilian street lamps is worth exploring, and every Saturday Calpe holds a street market which sells everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to trainers, clothes and leather goods.
Booking notes
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking. Balance and bond payment (£200) required 8 weeks before departure. Separate bond payment refunded within 2 weeks of return. If booking is made less than 8 weeks before departure, full payment and separate bond cheque are required immediately.
