Beautiful villa, 10 minutes walk from the local village which has a selection of local shops, bars and restaurants. Large covered veranda with patio furniture an area for relaxing and eating in the shade. BBQ area. Large patio area with sun beds around the south facing recently refurbished swimming pool. Cycles available (for small cost) deal for exploring the local orange groves on relatively traffic free roads. The villa is approx 4 km from railway station at Alzera with regular low cost train service every 30 mins to Valencia. Alzera is a lovely Spanish town with excellent shopping and eating places. 15 mins drive to beaches which are considered the best in Spain. There are many historical areas to explore in this predominantly Spanish area. Ideal for those who enjoy quiet secluded holidays or want to explore and find the real Spain.n ideal base if looking to purchase a home in this area. Used on a regular basis by the owners and family thus it is set up as a home-from-home.

Booking for 6 people can be flexible. Changeover day is flexible. There is a £50 change over fee which covers cleaning, laundry and pool cleaning / maintenance. This must be paid with the balace payment to the owner.

Notes on accommodation
Suitable for children as property is on a flat level. The pool has a shallow end with three large steps inside pool for easy access. There is a gate which fixes on the main door from villa at the pool side, this is a safety feature to prevent unsupervised young children entering pool. The villa has been built to stay cool inside but there are fans for all rooms. There is a log fire for chilly evenings with gas heaters for all bedrooms.
Accessibility
The property would not suit people with mobility problems as there are three steps up to the main entrance.
Outside
Gardens to all sides of villa with a large selection of patio furniture on covered veranda and around the 8m x 4m private south facing pool. There are shaded areas around the villa with seating for those who like to escape the direct sun
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is about a 15 minute drive from the villa and stretches for miles of beautiful coast line. The beaches on this stretch of the coast are renound for being the finest in Spain with free parking and numerous restuarants. The area consisting of Cullera,Gandia, Denia, Javea and Morira are delightful places to walk, sunbath and search out excellent food.
Golf
30 minutes to the nearest 18 hole golf course at Oliva. The Oliva Nova golf course was designed by Severiano Ballesteros and has a practice green and driving range.
Travel
Valencia Airport - 40 min drive (Thompsonfly, EasyJet and British Airways).
Alicanti Airport - 1 hr -10 min (Thompsonfly, EasyJet and British Airways).
Flights with Thompson have reductions of 60% for October Breaks.
A hired car is advisable and can be hired from either Airport at a very reasonable cost.
Distances
The village, La Barraca is a ten minute stroll with the nearest town Alzira a ten min drive. Valencia is 20 min on the train from Alzira which run every 30 min and cost 3.50 euros return. Valencia is a beautiful interesting friendly City and is a must. There is a tour bus which will give you an insight into the city layout.
Further details
The village has two small supermarkets, bakers, chemist, bank two bars/restuarants and vegetable shop. Alzira is a superb town with a large Carrefour. The town centre has a selection of individual shops (a must for serious shoppers)and restuarants and has an excellent square with bars and coffee shops
Booking notes
A £50.00 deposit is required with flight details for initial booking. The balance to be paid one month before travel. Payment to be made in Sterling. I trust all renters to treat the villa with respect as they would their own home and ask them to replace any breakages or inform me and make ample payment to replace any breakages.

There is a visitors book at the villa which has been in operation for 3 years. This is full of lovely comments from renters who many of have returned yearly for these 3 years.
