Newly built townhouse in the traditional Spanish town of Balsicas with all local amenities such as bars and supermarkets only 5 mins walk away. There are places to eat however mainly tapas. The coastal resorts of the Mar Menor and the airport of San Javier are 10 mins drive. The house is ideally situated for those wanting to do nothing but relax or for those of you who like to be more active. The region boasts several top class golf resorts, the nearest is a 10 mins drive away. Scuba diving, sailing, cycling and horse riding are just some of the activities available in the region. The historic cities of Murcia and Cartagena are only a 20 mins drive away. Or take the train at Balsicas train station only a 5 mins walk away.

Changeover day

House bathroom with bath, shower, wc, bidet, marble vanity unit around washbasin, mirror.
Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen includes extractor fan, vitroceramic hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, juicer. All cooking utensils provided.
Utility Room: Washing machine and electric water heater.
Living Rooms: Large living area with large sofa which converts into a queen size sleeping area (suitable children only). Sky TV, DVD, CD player, CDs and DVDs for guests use. Dining table with 6 chairs.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All bed linen and towels (except beach) are provided for guests use. Linen and towels changed weekly. Price for mid week clean, (linen and towel change,2 week rentals or more) is payable locally.

Accessibility
There is a small step to gain access to the house. 1 bedroom and shower room on the ground floor.

Outside
Outside area to the front can be used for parking or additional seating area with table and 4 chairs. Lockable gate for added security. Back terrace from 2nd bedroom has a table and 2 chairs plus 2 bamboo style deck chairs. Roof top solarium has a large free standing parasol, sunbeds and table and chairs. Cold shower.

Coast/Beach
The Mar Menor boasts 17km of beaches, so you're spoilt for choice. The nearest being Santiago de la Ribera which is a 10 min drive. Los Alcazares is 10-15 min drive away and La Manga strip approx 30 min drive.

Golf
The Costa Calida has many top class golf resorts. The nearest being La Torre Golf Resort which is a 10 min drive from the house. Mosa Trajectum (PGA) course is a 15 min drive via the auto-via towards the city of Murcia. Roda Golf is 15 min drive. The world famous La Manga Club is a 20 min drive. There are also 2 new Polaris world resorts being built 5 mins drive from the house.

Skiing
Grenada. Sierra Nevada.

Special interest holidays
Scuba diving, watersports, sailing, golf, horse riding, cycling and walking.

Travel
San Javier Airport is 8km from the house. Approx 15 - 20 mins drive. Alicante is further afield takes approx 1 hour's drive. Corvera airport is under construction and should be completed in 2010 which is 15 mins drive. Car hire is recommended. Airport pick-ups can be arranged (prices available on request).
Balsicas has it's own train station, taking those who want to venture further afield, to places like Barcelona and Madrid or locally to Murcia and Alicante.

Distances
5 min walk to Balsicas centre. 10 min drive to the town of Roldan. All costal resorts/towns such as Los Alcazares, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar are all within 10-15 min drive.

Further details
All local amenities are 5 mins walk away. There is also a bowling alley with restaurant on an industrial estate located 10/15 mins walk away. On the same estate, is an excellent Indian restaurant and a sports bar. Dos Mares is a shopping complex inbetween the costal towns of San Javier and San Pedro on the N-332 again 15 mins by car.
