This spacious Garden Apartment is located within the world renowned Mijas Golf complex with its 2 exceptional 18 hole golf courses, clubhouse facilities and hotels all in close proximity with many restaurants, bars, supermarkets (including Iceland, Lidl, Dunnes, etc) nearby. The apartment is well laid out and has a grassed enclosed front garden and new Breakfast Room enjoying a prime position with the lounge and master bedroom/ensuite overlooking the terrace,5 stunning pools, golf course and the Mijas Mountains beyond. The second twin-bedded room with ensuite also overlooks the enclosed, secluded garden. Direct level access from car to this apartment and to the pools and gardens. No stairs involved. Changeover day
Flexible according to season. The property is normally vacated by 10.00am on day of departure for cleaning/linen changeover but should there be no incoming tenant that day we are happy to let you have a later check-out time.

Twin bedroom has a separate shower-room with large walk-in shower, wc and handbasin. Marble flooring.
Kitchen: Well equipped and bright kitchen/breakfast room with new oven/ceramic hob, microwave, new large fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Ample crockery, glassware, cutlery etc. Safety glassware for children/outside use.
Utility Room: All appliances in kitchen area.
Living Rooms: Large Lounge/Dining Room with Sky TV and radio/cassette, CD. Marble floors throughout. Patio doors lead onto a terrace and direct access to pools and garden areas, Golf views and Mijas mountains. The room is comfortably furnished, cool and well decorated.
Other: Both bedrooms are bright and well-furnished with plenty of closet space and hangers. From the kitchen there is a lovely breakfast room with table/4 chairs and fan above. This overlooks the enclosed garden laid to lawn with access through the French doors.

The apartment is fully cleaned/beds made up and ready for you on arrival day. We provide linen, hand/bath towels (please bring beach towels with you). Guests staying a 2nd week will receive fresh linen/towels delivery. Welcome pack for late arrivals.

Notes on accommodation
A complimentary welcome pack of essential food/drink items will be provided for guests who arrive late in the evening or Sundays. Managers may be contacted during your stay for any help/advice you may need. Cot or high chair/push chair may be requested from an independent hire company who will deliver for a small fee. We can book this for you. Please remember to obtain adequate travel/medical insurance for you and your family members. Lifeguards on pool duty during summer months. Being situated on the Ground Floor this apartment is very suitable and safer for families with young children or toddlers and also any guests with mobility problems. Carparking is at front of apartment entrance for ease of access with luggage,golf clubs, shopping etc.

Accessibility
The apartment is all on 1 level from car to apartment and is wheelchair friendly. The following doorway measurement are given as a guide but please discuss your requirements with the owners: front door = 77cm, master bedroom door = 66cm and en-suite door = 57cm. The second bathroom has a large walk-in shower for easier access. We have a company who will deliver any mobility aids you require to hire during your stay and collect on day of departure. Please tell us your needs.

Outside
The apartment is situated within a gated/landscaped complex. Our apartment overlooks 1 of the larger pools and the lovely grassed gardens. There are several on the complex, including a children's pool and all are manned by lifeguards. In the winter months, when lifeguards are not on duty, the pools' boundaries are clearly marked to comply with European Safety Regulations. You are responsible for you and your family members' safety and should have adequate insurance in case of accident. Please note the owners are not to be held responsible for any of the 5 pools that may be closed due to equipment breakdown or necessary maintenance work. Every possible endeavour is made by Committee and Administration to provide swimming facilities during the summer season. Rental prices are based on accommodation and contents provided.The apartment has patio chairs/tables, sunloungers for guests use.

Coast/Beach
Wonderful, clean beaches and the port/marina are just minutes away by car. The towns of Fuengirola, La Cala (both with excellent beaches) and the quaint village of Mijas are a short drive and supermarkets, restaurants, banks etc are easily reached. Puerto Banus and Marbella are within 30 minutes drive.

Golf
The apartment is situated on Mijas Golf complex which has two 18 hole courses plus clubhouse, shop, restaurant and bar. It is only a few minutes by car to the clubhouse for making your bookings etc. Please ask them about special offers, ie. (twilight tee-off times) which offer good discounts.There are many alternative courses you may wish to try with La Cala or Alhaurin Golf, situated close by.

Travel
Malaga airport is a 25 minute drive. Use of a car is recommended but Taxi service is available at Complex or the adjacent Hotel Tamisa Golf. Nearest train station (15/20mts) is Fuengirola.
Car hire (English company) can be arranged to meet you at Malaga airport. You can pay them directly on arrival.

Distances
Dunnes/Lidl, Iceland supermarkets/Myramar Shopping Plaza (with Cinema Complex) 10 minutes. Aquapark Water Theme Park 10 mts. Large weekly Tuesday Market/English/Spanish/International/McDonalds/ Restaurants/hotels - within the immediate area. Petrol stations 2 minutes. Fuengirola and La Cala towns/port, shops,hair salons, banks and beaches 15 minutes. Mijas village 20 minutes. Marbella/Puerto Banus 30 minutes. Gibraltar by toll road approx 1hr 30m. Take passports and allow for border control.

Further details
Sitio Del Golf is conveniently situated next to the attractive 4 star Tamisa Golf Hotel with its lovely restaurant and bar/pool terrace. Beauty salon and hairdressing is available also. For something more casual there are several English/International restaurants and Spanish 'Ventas' close by for barbecues and a full menu of international food, tapas and snacks and 'daily menus' at a fixed price. A few minutes along the road there is a large BBQ park with a bar, BBQ pits, seating etc. Just bring your meat etc and enjoy meeting new friends in this lovely outdoors park. You may also book for horse-riding and trekking at the various stables close by. The larger towns of Fuengirola/La Cala are a short drive and have everything you would need for your shopping and social life whilst in Spain. A popular weekly market is held in Fuengirola on Tuesdays, selling everything from fruit, vegetables and spices to clothing, ceramics, leather and giftware. For children there is a great Aquapark in the area also, all details showing places of interest, maps etc., are in the apartment.
Mijas is a beautiful village set high in the mountains with wonderful scenery. It is famous for the charming donkey taxis in which the locals will be delighted to take you and show you their picturesque village. There are some very good restaurants here, quaint shops and the famous old bullring.
Our property managers will meet you to handover keys and will familiarise you with the apartment and surrounding area. You will be able to contact them by telephone should an emergency arise during your stay. Local doctors,taxi and police numbers are in the apartment. Please note that you are responsible for your own holiday insurance.

Booking notes
25% deposit is required to secure the booking. This can be paid into our UK Barclays sterling bank account with balance paid into bank 2 weeks before arrival in Spain. If payment is in Euros then 25% deposit can be paid by cheque with balance paid in Euros cash on arrival at apartment. A holiday lettings contract (a legal requirement in Spain) is provided to safeguard your booking and monies paid. This is completed and signed by us before arrival and sent to you with helpful maps of the area.

Welcome to our profile page. We are Diane and David the owners of this lovely ground floor garden apartment on Mijas Golf complex. Whether you need a relaxing, laid back vacation or much more going on then there are plenty of options here. We have owned and managed the property ourselves since 2000 and have always maintained it to the good decorative and clean standards that our guests have come to expect, many of whom return each year. We personally welcome you to the apartment on arrival day to ensure you are familiar with the apartment layout and surrounding area and should the need arise we can be contacted throughout your stay. We feel certain you will enjoy a happy and memorable holiday in our apartment and we look forward to meeting you and your family.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Our friends lived here and we always admired the superb location and lovely views whenever we came to visit them. Although just on the outskirts of town it is minutes by car to everything you could wish for in the way of shopping, restaurants, entertainment and sightseeing. It is nice to have the tranquil views and not be overlooked by other buildings. It is a most private location and is a low rise complex having just the ground, first and top floors. The garden and pool areas are quite unusual in their size and shape compared to other complexes and many visitors comment on this.

Unique benefits of the property
We were overjoyed to buy a ground floor apartment with a garden as they are always the most popular having such good ease of access, no stairs and parking right outside the entrance. Guests with mobility problems/wheelchairs would also find this most suitable and we have accommodated them successfully in the past. Families with young children are especially pleased that their children are in a very safe environment and a gated community. The lounge terrace leads right out to the terrace overlooking the lagoon shaped pools and gardens which are quite unique in their design and very spacious. We added a breakfast conservatory off the kitchen and this overlooks the enclosed garden which is very private and also has a gate giving added security for those families with children.
