Casa Delfin is a family owned detached 3 bedroomed villa in 750sqm garden with private pool, glazed sun room and un-overlooked roof sun terraces with beautiful mountain views. Las Tres Calas is a peaceful residential development with three lovely blue flag beaches within 2.5km, there are many other beaches, creeks and coves, some with fine white sand, others stony, surrounded by typically Mediterranean vegetation. There are three cafe/bars, a restaurant, supermarket and a bakery approximately 300 metres from the villa. The traditional fishing town of L’Ametlla de Mar, approximately 4 km away, has a train station and a variety of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. In the area you will find some of the most beautiful, unspoilt coastline on the Mediterranean. Other attractions in the area include Universal Studios Port Aventura, The Ebro Delta nature reserve, extraordinary fishing on the river Ebro and a number of superb golf courses.

Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Stays of more or less than one week will be priced on the weekly rate divided by 7 to give a daily rate.
For example, 9 days in July will be £875 divided by 7 to give a dialy rate of £125.00, multiplied by 9 days = £1,125.00
Rates include the use of the air-conditioning.

To enable our clients to get the best flight deals possible, we have no preferred change over days or fixed duration stays, (we can do 6, 7, 10, 11 day or any other duration stays). Just contact us with your requirements.

Accessibility
The villa has a short set of steps at the front and side making wheelchair access difficult.
Outside
Casa Delfin is a detached villa built in the 1970’s standing in 750 square metres of garden which has 2m high privacy hedging all round, a ‘pineapple’ palm tree and two large fig trees. There are six quality sunbeds, a picnic bench set for 6/8 people and a number of outside chairs and small tables. New last year is a shady gazebo for enjoying the outside by the pool while sheltering from the sun. The gazebo has electric lighting and is an ideal place to enjoy al-fresco dining. The private swimming pool is 7m x 4m, it is 2m deep at the deep end, 0.75m deep at the shallow end. It has ‘roman steps’ for easy entry and a light for night use. The pool is for the sole use of Casa Delfin occupants. There is a full barbeque with outside lighting. The roof sun terrace has excellent views over the area and the mountains behind, the sea in the distance. The rear area of the roof terrace is walled in and not overlooked so that sunbathing ‘without tan lines’ is not unreasonable.
Coast/Beach
Las Tres Calas has, as the title indicates, 3 main beaches. The beaches are tranquil and peaceful with shallow bays perfect for youngsters. These are a world away from the crowded beaches associated with larger tourist areas. All this approx 5 min drive from the villa. Travel a little further afield to explore the dozens of small coves and beaches in the area.
Golf
There are a number of superb golf courses in the area, the nearest being some 8km away.
Travel
Air travel to the villa can be booked online via Ryanair, direct to Reus airport, leaving only a short drive of 40 mins. At present many UK airports are now flying in direct to Reus from London Luton, Stansted, Liverpool, Glasgow, Dublin etc. Alternatively Easy Jet or most major airlines fly direct to Barcelona airport, a 90min drive away. Distances
Local Beaches (The Three Coves) - 5 min drive, (2.5km). Fishing Village L’Ametlla de Mar - less than 10 min drive (4km). Universal Studios Port Aventura – 40 min drive. Barcelona – 90min drive. There is an excellent train service from L'Amettla de Mar which is very clean and cheap, this will take you to Barcelona or Porta Ventura easily.
Further details
Port Aventura The Great Universal Studios Theme Park is widely considered to be the best and biggest in Spain. The park is 40Km from the villa and can be easily reached either by car or from the excellent train service from Ametlla.
A Fisherman's paradise: The River Ebro The river Ebro is the longest river in Spain – it has a natural delta that stretches for miles, with an abundance of wild life including Flamingos and a huge variety of fish including Carp, Catfish, (I have caught them up to 132lb!), Barbell, Zander, Roach, Rudd and Mullet.
Golf Club de Golf Bonmont Bonmont golf course. This Championship Golf Course is a magnificent 18 hole, par 72 course stretching over 6900 yards of magnificent greenland.
Surrounded by spectacular Mediterranean views and a mountains backdrop, this is one of the finest Golf courses in Catalonia.
Ebro Delta Natural Park, there are some wonderful drives along the River Ebro as it meanders inland amidst some stunning scenery. I recommend the trip from Casa Delfin, to Hospitalet, through the mountains to Mora de Ebra and following the river down to Amposta before picking up either the AP7 motorway or the N340 back to Ametlla.
Hospitalet, this cosmopolitan town is 10Km from the villa and has a very good market every Sunday.
Just beyond Hospitalet is the resort of Miami Playa where there are some very good beaches & restaurants to be found.
Tarragona, the capital of the province of the same name is about 40 minutes drive from the villa. Of great importance in classical antiquity, the city preserves numerous vestiges of Tarraco, the, the original Roman city, some of which are the aqueduct, the amphitheatre and, on the coast, the so-called Tomb of the "Escipiones". Located closely together a few kilometres inland from Tarragona are two important medieval monasteries, Santes Creus and Santa Maria de Poblet, one the Pantheon of the Aragonese Kings.
