Outside
The swimming pool is a generous 8 metres by 4 metres and has an outdoor shower and sun bathing terraces, including an upper level solarium with stunning views. The garden is large with typical Mediterranean plants and fruit trees. The villa is equipped with sunloungers and sun umberellas.

Coast/Beach
There are numerous small coves and beaches all within a 5 min drive, the area is famous for its miradors (views) and several are within walking distance - La Barraca and Ambola and the Cap de la Nao lighthouse with its amazing views and excellent restaurants. Further beaches are within a 10 min drive ie the main Arenal and Grenadella.

Golf
Javea's main golf course is about 10 mins by car, others are located at La Sella and Denia, about 20 mins away.

Travel
Javea is approx 1 hour from Alicante airport and 1 hr 15 mins from Valencia airport, both make Javea easily accessible. Car hire is advisable to make the most of your holiday, although there is a bus route from Balcon al Mar into the Arenal and port areas.

Distances
Benidorm with its theme parks and nightlife is about 50 mins away. The Jalon Valley is about 30 mins. The beaches and port of Denia about 20 mins away and the beautifil hilltop village of Guadalest about 50 mins.

Further details
Walking, horseriding, cycling, golf and watersports are the popular activities. The area has good reasonably prices restaurants and a variety of shopping in the oldtown, the port and in the Arenal.

I found it an ideal base for 4 adults with the villa having spectacular views over the bay,the pool was a welcome attraction and having a restaurant within walking distance is a bonus.Easy access to surrounding areas,Javea and all its amenities. Michael Manders 2011

About the owner
We are Les and Jackie, we live in Spain with our giant schnauzer Alfie. We have 2 daughters,who now live in England, one is completing her education and the other is a teacher. We are early retired as Les has been very ill and you know what they say about life being too short! So we took the step to move to Spain about 6 years ago. We still visit France and the UK a lot and love all 3 countries for different reasons. We also love property, maintenance renovation etc and love sharing our homes with friends relatives and guests.
