Las Tortugas provides flexible accommodation for up to 10 people in one, two or three bedroom apartments or as a whole house. Within the 2500sqm walled garden is a 12 metre pool, a large open terrace and adjacent to a spacious covered terrace with dining table and chairs for 10, and a further selection of comfy seating. There is also a large first floor terrace. From the upper and lower terraces are all-round views, notably to the coast at Garrucha and to the south to the Sierra Cabrera. The nearest neighbours are over 300m away, making Las Tortugas a very private place. There are ceiling fans throughout, and for cooler months, a log burner in the sitting rooms. Sitting rooms have satellite tv and lots of books. Although the beach is only ten minutes' away, the tranquillity of the area is such that many guests find themselves unable to find the motivation for many excursions. No smoking inside. Sorry, children under 16 admitted only when whole house is let to same group.

Notes on prices
Discount of 100 euros per week on high and peak season prices for bookings of 2 weeks or more. Discounts for lets of more than 6 weeks in winter and for under-occupation outside of main holiday seasons.

Changeover day flexible. Arrival after 3pm and departure before 11 am.

Notes on accommodation
There is a WiFi internet connection accessible all round the house. There are no specific security measures around the pool or on the upper terrace and parents/guardians must accept full responsibility for the safety of children. Sorry no pets and smoking is not allowed inside the house.
Accessibility
The property is not really suitable for wheelchair access.
Outside
The house is set in 2500sqm of walled garden, much of which is gravelled with specimen plants. Around the private 12m pool is a good deal of open terracing with loungers and chairs. The pool temperature is kept a bit higher than normal when required with a solar pipe system. The covered outside living-dining area has dining table with seating for 10 and a selection of sofas/easy chairs. Upstairs, outside the first floor sitting room is a large (50sqm) open terrace. The main aspect is to the south, but Las Tortugas also enjoys stunning all-round views of mountains from all round the house as well as the sea at Garrucha to the east. The sunsets are incredible throughout the year.
Coast/Beach
Garrucha 10 minutes by car. Mojácar 12 minutes by car.
Vera Playa 15 minutes by car.
Golf
Two championship courses and two other courses all within 15 minutes.
Travel
Almeria and Murcia airports 50 minutes. Alicante and Granada airports, 2 hours. Car hire essential.
Distances
Vera 4km, Garrucha 7km, Mojacar 10km and Granada 2 hours.
Further details
Nearest supermarket, 5 minutes, banks in any direction (Vera and Garrucha) 10 mins. Restaurants at Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar and also closer to hand at Valle del Este golf complex. Local markets at Vera (Saturday) and Garrucha (Friday). Activities: Aqua park at Vera 15 minutes, also Naturist beach, Go Karts at Garrucha, riding at Mojacar, bowls at Turre, Caves at Sorbas and Cuevas del Almanzora. Cabo de Gata Natural Park 30 minutes. Mini Hollywood at Tabernas, 1 and a half hour's.
Booking notes
25% of total price or €100 (whichever is largerf) for reservation by bank transfer. Sterling accepted at prevailing rate. Balance four weeks before holiday unless other arrangements have been made. Security deposit of €200 to 500 depending on which apartment.
