The apartment has uninterrupted views across a fertile valley towards Benitachell village and it's lovely church, flood lit in the evenings. We are in a beautiful rural location, it is peaceful, tranquil and romantic, however shops restaurants and super markets are only a few minutes drive away. It is a very well equipped apartment, a king size bed is complemented by coordinated fixtures, fittings and furniture throughout. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen, a covered 'naya', perfect for dining al fresco, and lovely private gardens to the side and rear. The apartment is located on the ground foor of our villa. It has it's own seperate entrance, and has direct access to the terrace and pool. Parking is available on the drive way, or in a parking area to the side of the villa. We aim to make your holiday relaxing and special, providing personal touches which will enhance your stay. A generous welcome pack is provided upon arrival.

Changeover day
Reservations are normally from Saturday to Saturday, but flexible arrangements are possible. Arrival time after 3pm. Departure time 10am unless otherwise arranged.

Bedrooms: One bedroom with king size bed, ceiling fan, bedside lamps and wall lights. Wardrobe mirrors and chest of drawers.
Bathrooms: Shower room with large shower area, modern vanity unit, wash hand basin and WC.A small selection of toiletries are also supplied.
Kitchen: Fully fitted with, ceramic hob, full sized oven, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, microwave, juice extractor, toaster, coffee makers, dishwasher and granite work surfaces.
Utility Room: Washing machine and tumble dryer, drying rack with pegs, ironing board and steam iron.
Living Rooms: Light, bright open plan area, with patio doors to the Naya and pool terrace. A chest of draws, comfortable chairs, coffee table, lamps, a satellite TV and DVD player, TV programms are limited. A selection of CDs and DVDs are provided.
Other: Dining area, glass topped table with 4 chairs, a chest of drawers/sideboard, and a CD player.

A generous supply of towels, and quality linen are provided, for change on a weekly basis.
The apartment will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival,weekly cleaning can be arranged, if required, at an additional charge,cleaning products are provided

Accessibility
To access the apartment there are two steps, and two steps onto the Naya.

Outside
A large terrace surrounds the 8m x 4m private pool. On the "naya" ( covered terrace ) is a dining table with seating for 4. Also two lounge chairs, coffee table, table lamp, storage chest, and free standing fan. A charcoal bbq is available. The terrace and garden have comfortable reclining sun loungers, umberellas and additional seating in a secluded setting.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are at javea and moraira, both 6km from the apartment - about 10 minutes drive.
Calpe and Denia are further away, about 20 minutes drive.
Most of the beaches in the area are sandy,and all " blue flag" beaches.
There are also plenty of rocky beaches and coves quite close by. A cool box, and beach chairs are available.

Golf
Javea's 9 hole golf course is 5 minutes drive from the apartment, and La Sella's 18 hole course fifteen minutes away.
Both courses also have tennis courts,and just a few minutes from the apartment is Benitachell Bowls Club.

Travel
Alicante airport and Valencia airport are both approximately one and a quarter hours drive away. The majority of the journey is by way of the A7 motorway.
Car hire is essential, comprehensive directions will be provided.

Distances
The village of Benitachell is 1km distance, whilst Javea and Moraira are both 6km.
Denia and Calpe are both aproxamately 12km distance, whilst
Benedorm is about 30km.

Further details
Javea is divided into three areas, the Arenal (beach area) a large sandy Blue Flag bay with numerous restaurants, cafe bars and shops. The port area is 1km to the North of the Arenal, it is a working fishing port and has it's own small part sand part shingle beach. There are many bars and restaurants with great sea views, plus a variety of shops. About 1km inland from the port, on rising ground, is the Old Town, built around a large medieval church. The streets are narrow and virtually traffic free, as with the other areas shops, restaurants and cafe bars are numerous.

Moraira is a smaller slightly upmarket town, it has a marina and fishing port and a large gently shelving sandy beach.
The narrow streets in the old part of the town are lined with all types of shops, cafe's and restaurants. There are also several delightful squares, perfect for an al fresco lunch, dinner or just a cup of coffee.

The Montgo mountain, which is a national park, stands between Javea and Denia. It can be explored by keen walkers as there are paths to the top from the Denia side.

There are many water sports available in the area, just go to the port areas where you will find just about anything that interests you. Banks are plentiful and easy to find in all areas, you will also find that most of the staff speak English.
Supermarkets are in all the towns, and tho' not as large those in the UK, stock a good range of products. Terra Mitica Theme Park and Mundomar water park at Benidorm are both great for a day out. The Jalon Valley, which stretches in land from the coast, provides some wonderful scenery, great walks, and a chance to explore inland villages. Including Guadalest, with it's castle and walled village.

Booking notes
A £100 deposit is payable when booking is made.
The balance being payable 6 weeks prior to the holiday start date, and to include in addition a £100 refundable inventory/damage/serious breakages deposit.

My wife Jennie and I decided to take early retirement twelve years ago. We travel regularly to our UK home to see family and friends, allowing us to enjoy the best of both countries. The climate, and relaxed way of life in Spain are just right for us. Also the ease with which we can travel to other European destinations, by air, boat, train or road. Our home, apartment and garden are well appointed, and all looked after to a high standard. We aim to provide all our guests with an enjoyable, memorable and happy holiday, in this beautiful area.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We chose the village of Benitachell because of it's location, the greenery, the hills and mountains,all within close proximity to the beaches, inland towns and villages. The location of the villa, in the countryside, just outside the village, in a peaceful valley, gave us everything that we were looking for, and more.

Unique benefits of the property
Ideally situated for visiting beach or mountain areas,or just being able to relax in a quiet peaceful area. All types of sports and cultural activities are available within a short drive. There are also many restaurants and cafe bars in the area to suit all tastes. There are numerous good beaches within 10/15 minutes drive from the villa, these include sand, shingle and rocks. Many are picturesque, some more suited to families, and others which appeal to those who prefer more peace and quiet, or naturism.
