If all that sounds like too much exertion then head for stunning Lake Negratin where you can swim, fish, hire a pedallo or simply laze on the shore. Still too much? Then sit back, relax and enjoy San Pedro's quiet village location and while away the hours on the patio drinking in the country views. San Pedro is available all year round for holiday rental.

| Bedrooms: | The master bedroom has a double bed and a dressing room. Bedroom 2 has two extra wide single beds and a dressing room. There is a double sofabed in the lounge. |
| Bathrooms: | The bathroom has mosaic tiling, a large walk-in shower, bidet, wc and heated towel rail. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen has a ceramic hob, oven, cooker hood, fridge, washing machine, microwave and electric kettle. There's also a small dining area if you wish to eat indoors. |
| Utility Room: | Washing machine, fridge freezer, log store. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge is cosy and has a sofa, easy chair, TV, side tables and a wood burning stove. |

Towels and linen are provided and changed weekly. The cave is cleaned weekly for stays of two weeks or more. |
Notes on accommodation
Like all cave homes, San Pedro enjoys a constant temperature of approximately 18 degrees which means that it's cool in summer and snug in winter. As a result we don't need air conditioning in the summer (no noise - bliss!), and the wood burning stove is perfect for any chilly winter nights. We make sure there's always a supply of books, games and maps in the cave for you to use and enjoy during your stay.

Accessibility
The cave has no steps outside and there's car parking directly opposite the front door. There is one small step inside the cave. The shower is fitted with a wall mounted stool for the use of anyone who has difficulty standing. Our daughter has impaired mobility so we're happy to answer any questions you may have about accessibility. We can also supply additional photographs to help you judge for yourself.
Outside
San Pedro has a large, newly built patio extending across the front of the cave and our traditional pergola will give you perfect shade. The patio is the place to enjoy the Andalucían sun during the day or - even better - to relax with a glass of wine under the stars in the evening after a beautiful sunset and a delicious meal cooked on the barbecue. Perfect!
Coast/Beach
The nearest coastal resorts are just over an hour away in Almeria.
Golf
There are plenty of golf courses within an 1.5 hour drive of the cave, for example in Granada, Almeria or Mojacar.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada ski resort is only 90 minutes away. This is a modern resort ideal for all the family and if you're staying at San Pedro during the winter you might to consider spending some time there skiing, ice-skating or tobogganing.
Travel
Granada airport is just over an hour away and served from the UK by Ryanair (Stansted, Liverpool, East Midlands) and Monarch (Gatwick). Almeria airport is 1.5 hours away. Murcia, Malaga and Alicante airports are 2.5 hours away. The cave is easily reached from any of these airports. We'll provide you with clear driving directions from whichever airport you arrive into.
Car hire is essential if you want to get the most out of a holiday at San Pedro.

You can be in Granada (and the Alhambra) in just over an hour.
Stunning Lake Negratin is about 20 minutes' away.

Orce is a traditional Spanish village with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. You won't want for anything. The village has 3 general stores, a bakery, 2 butchers, 2 fishmongers, a pharmacy, 2 banks and a post office. Internet access is available in the village library free of charge. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available every day in the village and there is a market in the square every Tuesday.
Orce's natural surroundings are as breathtaking as its historic heritage is evident. The village is full of quaint streets and traditional houses. Traditions and local cooking are still taken seriously in Orce and the combination of these elements will delight your senses whichever time of year you decide to visit Orce.
The village has lots of good bars and restaurants, most of which give free tapas with drinks. Tapas is a speciality in Granada Province and those on offer in Orce are no exception.
If you need to cool off in the Andalucían sun, head for Orce's natural spring pool and swim among the red mullet who live there (children love it)! The pool is always clear and fresh because of the natural source at the base of the pool, constantly bubbling away underneath. The water has thermal qualities, with a constant year round temperature of 21ºC. The spring is a fantastic place to come to swim or just to relax and watch the world go by. Mature elms and willows will shade you from the heat of the sun, and the poolside bar has a never-ending supply of ice creams and cold drinks.
Beyond the village a wealth of stunning scenery awaits you in all directions and there are many activities on offer: including horse riding, fishing, canoeing, walking, cycling, para-gliding, quad biking, pedallos, photography and bird-watching.

We ask you for a 20% deposit at the time of booking with the balance payable 4 weeks before the date of your arrival. If you book less than 4 weeks before the start of your stay the total cost is required at the time of booking.
