This 3 bedroom villa is located on the north of Nerja, in the quiet area of urbanisation ‘El Algarrobo’. Just 20 minutes walk to the famous Burriana Beach. The villa is built on 2 levels and is stylishly furnished to a high standard. It has its own private pool which has the sun all day. The patio is well furnished with 4 sun loungers, patio chairs, table, patio plants and barbecue. The saloon is very comfortable with modern sofas, satellite TV, and CD player. There is an additional dining area with table and 6 chairs and a large fully fitted kitchen. The master bedroom has a bathroom en suite with a balcony overlooking the pool and terrace area. From here there are lovely sea and mountain views and the balcony also catches the late evening sun which sets over the mountains.

Standard letting is Saturday to Saturday, although alternavie mid week lettings will be considered. Arrival not before 16.00 pm and departure by 10.00am. Discounts will be considered for long term lets.
Changeover day
Change over days is normally Saturday-to-Saturday. However other times will be considered outside of peak periods

Notes on accommodation
This property is ideal for families. It is very roomy throughout, with a spacious lounge and dining area, large kitchen and having it's own private pool. It is situated in a quite but friendly location and is only 15 to 20 minutes walk from the famous Burriani beach in Nerja.
Accessibility
The pool and patio areas are very accessible. However the property is built on two levels with a staircase to the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. This may provide a challenge for people with severe mobility problems.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is the famous Burriani beach in Nerja which is approximately 15 to 20 minutes walking and about 5 mins by car. The Burriani beach is just one of many natural beaches in Nerja and has all the local amenities such as bars' restaurants, cafes, shops etc. You can take a local paella for just a few euros and the hire of sun loungers is reasonably inexpensive
Golf
The nearest golf course is about 15 minutes drive away at Baviera Golf course. This is a beautiful 72 par course that is not too difficult but would offer most golfers a good challenge and with a friendly and helpful staff. Tee off times can be booked at almost a days notice but you need to book a few days in advance for a buggy as it gets quite popular in the summer. The club offers discounted rates for married couples and there are reduce prices if you wish to play just 9 holes.
Skiing
The ski resorts at Sierra Nevada are aprroximately one and a quater hours drive from Nerja.
Special interest holidays
The area around Nerja is very natural and there are many walking and cycling trials in the mountains.
Travel
Malaga airport is the nearest airport and is approximately 45 minutes drive away. Malaga is serviced by most holiday and budget airlines, including Iberia, BA, Easyjet and Monarch Air The airport at Granada also offers an alternative and is served by Ryan Air, however, this is approximately one and a hour hours away.

About the owner
Hi, I am John Maguire and my wife Pat and we live in Southport in the North West of England. We visit Nerja as often as we can, generally about 4 to 5 times a year. However as we do not live in Spain we have appointed a management company who manage the running of the villa for us. Amongst other things they ensure that the villa is clean upon arrival and that all bed lined and towels are provided. We have been renting now for 4 years and so far every one of our guests have said that they have had a lovely holiday. We realize that every one looks forward to their summer holiday and we want so much for you to enjoy your stay.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Pat and I first visited Nerja in 2000. We were instantly delighted by its rustic charm and the way that it has retained so much of the natural Spanish way of life and is not over commercialised, as are so many other places in the Cost Del Sol. After our return home we saw an advert to purchase a 20% share in a villa in Nerja and after visiting once again we bought one of the shares from one of the 5 families that owned the property at that time. We were impressed with the space in the villa, the quite location and the fact that it had its own private pool. But one by one all of the previous owners moved on and Pat and I eventually ended up owning the villa.
