This brand new townhouse provides a perfect base for your summer holiday, winter break, golf trip or weekend escape. Set within a pine forest and walking distance to an amazing beach you will experience old and unspoilt Spain. Nuevo Portil is the place to be, hectic and sociable in the holiday months and festive weekends, tranquil, off season. Bars and eating places are close by, many are open all year-round, as are pharmacies and grocers. Hot bread can be bought every day of the year. Walks in the woods are fragrant with the scent of herbs and pine, rock-rose in the spring, thyme and tamarisk and rosemary. A day on the beach is sublime, the essence of a happy holiday. Golf is a tonic taken in a green dream. The sun rises in a silver sea and sinks in shades of scarlet. Nights are filled with stars and the sound of cicadas.

Arrival time: after 12 noon and departure time: before 12 noon.

Linen and bath towels are provided. For a week’s stay your holiday house is your own but for a two week stay a mid holiday clean will be provided. This includes a change of towels and linen and a general tidy. You only need to bring your own beach towels. |
Notes on accommodation
All the rooms have an air-conditioning and heating system as well as ceiling fans.
Outside
The private garden has a seating area for 6 and a BBQ. The balcony on the first floor has sun lounges and the balcony on the top floor has a seating area as well. Both balconies with views over the golf course, pool and pine forest. The garden and patios are in the sun all day. But the garden has a shaded area to dine. The large communal swimming pool is open from June till September.
Coast/Beach
Nuevo Portil Beach is a beach of natural beauty so much so that you will see people pulling up just to take photos of the view! With the Flecha del Rompido sand spit providing shelter
you get a double beach and fantastic water sports. Along the length of the beach you have a walking path and cycle track. Beach bars, showers and toilets are all provided along the beach.
Golf
The townhouse is located right on Nuevo Portils beautiful 18 hole golf course. The balconies overlook the 4th and 11th holes with their perfectly manicured fairways and greens. The course is set in the midst of a pine forest and is perfectly maintained – a joy to play!
The Club House forms part of the AC Hotel and is therefore open to residents, golfers and non residents alike. It’s a lovely place to enjoy a drink or have lunch/dinner in the excellent restaurant over looking the swimming pool and 18th green. The entire area is a golfers paradise with numerous courses within easy reach of the house. Both in Spain and just across the border in Portugal the choice of course is virtually endless. There are 2 great golf courses in El Rompido - only 5 minutes drive. You find other golf courses in Islantilla, Isla Canela and Bellavista.
Travel
The area is well served by airports. Select from Faro in Portugal (1hr and 10 min) or Seville (50 min) or Jerez in Spain (2 hrs) From Faro and Seville Airport there is a Transfer Service to Nuevo Portil. The company - Transfers Playas de Huelva - is located at their 'Meeting Point' at the Airport. You can book tickets online or at the 'Meeting Point' at the airport. It is an excellent and reliable service.
Distances
The traditional fishing village El Rompido is only 5 minutes drive away with plenty of restaurants and bars. There is also a go karting track and a water park close by. The major town Huelva is only 10 minutes drive with various shopping centres and the football stadium Recreativo de Huelva (La Liga) In Cartaya (10 minutes drive) is the large 'Carrefour' hypermarket.

Local activities includes fantastic golf courses (4-10 minutes drive and a further 8-30 minutes), beach walking distance away, sailing, water sports, cycling track, water park, go karting track, playfields, shopping and cultural activities in Seville, Cadiz, Ronda and Jerez.

Booking notes
We accept payment in euros or in sterling at the current exchange rate. An additional charge of 75 euros a week is made for use of the air-conditioning and heating system.
Payment terms - 25% on booking (non refundable). Balance due 8 weeks before arrival. A damage deposit of 150 euros will be taken on arrival and returned at the end of your stay after the property has been inspected and inventory checked.
