Located only a short drive from the village of Colmenar, the property is 200m down a private drive, continuing on to an old Andalucian farmhouse. The cottage is detached, private and totally separate.The villa has its own private oval-shaped pool, gardens, patios, BBQ and shaded seating area for dining alfresco. This lovely property is extremely spacious and provides exceptional comfort. Colmenar has a good selection of tapas bars, restaurants, supermarkets, bank, chemist, internet shop and holds a bustling weekly market. Malaga, airport and beaches are approx half an hour. Visiting some of Andalucias most historic sights eg Ronda, Granada are day trips due to the property's central location. Ideal haven of peace and tranquility to rest, relax and soak up the sun!

Payment can be made in pounds sterling or euros at the current exchange rate. Prices are for full weeks and any special offers are for full weeks. Payment can be made by Paypal or bank transfer. Shorter bookings are accepted, please ask for pricing details.
Long term bookings are available from £550 per month exc. from Oct to April only.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover Saturday. Arrivals after 5 pm. Departures before 10 am. We are always willing to accommodate your requirements and can be more flexible out of season, especially if we do not have a preceding/ following booking that day.

Bedroom 2 twin with 2 single beds, wardrobe, c/drawers.

Both bedrooms are airy and comfortable, fans are provide in summer and heating in winter!
Bathrooms: Separate bathroom with bath/over shower wc, sink and hairdryer. Heating.
Kitchen: The spacious, fitted kitchen is fully fitted with electric cooker and hob, microwave, full sized fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, juicer, iron & ironing board, radio/CD player. Dining table and 4 chairs, french doors onto patio area & BBQ.
Utility Room: Washing machine is located in separate outside utility room. Clothes dryer provided. Tumble dryer available in winter.
Living Rooms: Spacious, comfortable, light, open plan lounge/dining area. Table and chairs. Lounge area consists of sofa, 2 easy chairs, log burning stove, sat TV and DVD, selection of books and DVDs available. Bring yyour own DVDs if require. Internet on request.
Other: Master bedroom is bright and sunny, plenty of space and french doors leading out onto the pool and patios. The full bathroom is located next door and is fully tiled and has a hairdryer & heating. The second bedroom is a spacious twin bedroom.

The premises are cleaned to a high standard prior to guests arrival. Extra cleaning can be arranged. Pools maintained weekly. Clean linen provided weekly, beach towels can be hired. Bed/Breakfast, "all inclusive" & in house menu, available on request.

Notes on accommodation
Property, gardens and pool areas all on flat level so easy access. Parking directly outside property, no walks! Parental supervision always recommended due to pool area, unfamiliar surroundings. Wood burning stove and heating for winter months and fans for those hot summer nights! Direct Internet access available if required, 15 euros per week, please request. Please note prices are excl. of electric/water.

Accessibility
The property is accessed down a private well maintained track . Parking is directly outside the property. All the property is on one, flat level. Stone patios outside.

Outside
Los Establos is a spacious, detached property with its own private, oval shaped swimming pool, spacious stone patio areas and planted gardens. Its spectacular location enables you to enjoy the panoramic views from the cottage, pool area and gardens! A BBQ is provided along with sun loungers with cushions, parasols, table and chairs, occasional chairs etc to ensure your comfort during your stay. Direct and easy access from pool and gardens into property. There is a chidrens play area with tree house, trampoline, swings, sand pit, wendy house etc available. Ample parking for car, again directly outside property.

There are a vast selection of beaches to choose from, the nearest being approx 30 mins by car. Due to our location visiting the west or east of Malaga coast is a comfortable drive.

Cot and high chair provided on request, free of charge. Direct internet access can be provided on request, 15 euros per week. Starter packs can be arranged for your arrival eg. milk, fresh local eggs, bread, fresh local cheeses, please ask. Bed & Breakfast and "all inclusive" are available on request. We keep chickens,a short walk from the property, so they can be fed and the fresh organic eggs collected by yourselves. Delicious in house menu with selection of regional and popular dishes, delivered to the premises.

Booking notes
Weekly rentals are based on a maximum of four persons (+ cot on request). A 30% non returnable deposit is required to secure your booking. Full total price of holiday to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Damage deposit of 150 £/euros required on your arrival, fully refundable on your departure, provided there are no breakages etc. Any offers are per week.

My husband and I moved to this beautiful region 16 years ago...and are still singing its praises! Our children were born here and have totally embraced the Spanish way of life and language. We endured many years of toil, manana syndrome, heat, frustration, situations lost in translation.....you've heard it all in the novels! We now run our own exclusive property rental business here in this spectacular region. We have a selection of beautiful properties to suit most peoples' requirements, with private pools, gardens and fabulous views. It was worth it , sometimes we even squeeze a little time to enjoy the sunshine, relaxing way of life and fabulous regional cuisine....and vino!
