Set close to the famous salt lakes and regional park of San Pedro del Pinatar the apartment shares a large communal pool and is only 5 minutes away from the beaches of the Mar Menor. The surounding area is very flat and as such is excellent for walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired locally.
La Salinas nature reserve, complete with flamingos, is close by and over the sand dunes is the Mediterranean!

La Salinas salt lakes and nature reserve are close to hand. You can walk through the area with its vast array of migratory birds including Flamingos. A fantastic opportunity for bird watching!

Golf
Close to numerous golf courses. Villamartin is 20 mins drive, while Lafinca and Campamor courses are about 25 minutes away.

Travel
Murcia Airport (San Javier) is 10/15 minutes drive away. Alicante Airport is about 45 minutes.
Car hire is recommended, but not essential.

Distances
The beach at Lo Pagan can be reached within 5 mins by car with some beach side parking. San Pedro town is about 10 mins walk. Torrevieja is 25 mins drive.

Further details
Local English shop close by with larger Spanish supermarkets 10 minutes or so away. Dos Mares (Two Seas) shopping complex is about 10 minutes drive away with large Eroski supermarket, numerous shops, cinemas and restaurants. The newly opened Hotel Thalasia is two minutes walk away offering restaurants and bars. A Thalassotherapy Centre with swimming-pools with different temperatures, Jacuzzi, marine circuit, bithermic showers, sauna, cold swimming pool, relaxing room, and much more, is next to the hotel.
