Brand new 4 bedroom villa perched at the top of a hill in the charming La Borna area. Part of a small 5 villa community which was completed in March 2007. Large shared pool surrounded by lawns and a sea view. 2-minute drive (20-minute walk) to Sa Tuna beach. 6-minute drive (20-minute walk through the woods) to the beautiful medieval town of Begur which offers some excellent restaurants, a wide range of bars and enough chic boutiques to attract visitors from as far as Barcelona. The local area also offers superb opportunities for swimming, walking, diving, sailing and golf. The villa is owned by a English-Dutch couple who live in Barcelona: We chose this spot after more than 6 years of visits to the Costa Brava. We're convinced that we've got just the right combination: the latest in design and creature comforts in the villa, great swimming with a large pool and local beach, and some world-class gastronomy in a surprisingly sophisticated local town.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. The villa should be vacated by 10:00 and will be available by 17:00.

Linen and towels are included in the price, but we do ask that you please bring your own beach towels. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa comes fully equipped with air-conditioning (which can make for a good night's sleep in the height of summer) and central heating for the cooler winter nights. As parents of young children ourselves, we have child-protected all the floor-level sockets, installed a smoke alarm and extinguisher, and have both changing tables and cots available on request.

Outside
The villa has a south-facing patio and small garden with a table, chairs and barbeque. There is also a large shared pool which is surrounded by lawns, a couple of large trees and a fantastic sea view. We've included a photo of the pool above.
Coast/Beach
There are several bays and beaches within a 5 to 15 minute drive of the villa. Our favourites include: Sa Tuna, Aiguablava, Sa Riera, Calella de Palafrugel and Llafranc.
Golf
There are 9 golf courses in the area including 2 championship courses. Check out our website (see below) for further details.
Skiing
Skiing is available at La Molina which is about 3 hours drive from Begur. Check out our website (see below) for further details.
Travel
There are several budget airlines that fly to the Costa Brava. Among those we recommend are Ryanair, EasyJet, BMI baby, & Jet 2. The closest airports are Girona (45 minutes), Perpignan (90 minutes) and Barcelona (90 minutes).
Booking notes
We ask for a 25% deposit when you make your booking. The remaining balance is payable 8 weeks before your stay. We also ask for a £250 cheque to cover any possible breakages. This will not be cashed. It will be returned to you, less any breakages, after your holiday.
