New, very spacious, 270sq.m ground floor apartment in the superior development of Valgrande. Valgrande is a guarded urbanisation set in an area of wild oak and ancient cork trees. The apartment is fully furnished to a high specification and is fitted with air conditioning/central heating throughout. The 3 bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms, the kitchen is fully equipped and the living room has sliding doors onto the terrace. There is a spectacular communal swimming pool in the maturely planted gardens with plenty of sunloungers on the surrounding lawns. There is a fitness centre with a large indoor swimming pool, turkish bath and exercise machines. There is a golf practice area and a padel tennis court. Valgrande is located opposite the entrance to the prestigious Valderrama golf course in the heart of Sotogrande. The port, shops, beach, tennis courts, restaurants and 5 golf courses are all within 10 minutes drive of the apartment.

Underground parking with access lift to apartment. Large communal swimming pool with toilets and showers. Separate children's pool. Beautiful gardens planted with mature shrubs and trees.The new "Wellness Centre" has just opened and is inculded in the rental. This provides an indoor pool jacuzzi, plunge pool, turkish bath, solarium, gym and golf practice net. Outside there is a putting green and practice bunker. For the more energetic there is a paddle court, just book it at reception there is no charge.

Coast/Beach
The coast is just 10 minutes away, with beaches and most water sports. Further down the coast there are wonderful opportunities for kite surfing.

Golf
The apartment is situated in the premier golfing location of Spain. Apart from the world famous Valderrama course which is just across the road, there are the San Roque, Sotogrande, Alcaidesa, La Canada and Almenara courses all within 5/15 minutes drive.

Skiing
Just a few hours north are the Sierra Nevadas which provide excellent skiing particularly midweek.

Special interest holidays
There is an indoor 'Wellness Center' with pool, sauna, gym, solarium and golf practice net and outsode apractice green and bunkers.This included at no extra charge. Sotogrande offers a wealth of facilities and is unlike the 'Costas' and is more suitable to families or those whose children have left thr nest.A padel tennis court has just been built and is available free of charge ,just book it at security.

Travel
Gibraltar airport is less than 0.5 hour away, Malaga airport is about 1 hours drive and Jerez about one and a half.

Distances
The shops, golf and beaches are just a few minutes drive away. The 'White Villages' are just up in the hills behind us and for the more adventurous the many wonderful cities to visit.

Further details
Valgrande is a guarded urbanisation with controlled access. Sotogrande is a beautiful resort of villas and apartments situated on tree-lined avenues. In Sotogrande virtually every sport is available; sailing, horse-riding, cycling, hill walking, tennis, paddle tennis and fishing and further afield there is skiing in Sierra Nevada or kite surfing in Tarifa. For the more adventurous, Morocco is only a short distance by hydrofoil. In the evenings there are plenty of restaurants and bars, especially down in the lively port and marina. For those who want to go clubbing, Marbella and Porto Banus are only a taxi ride away.

About the owner
We are Trevor and Billie Newland. We bought our apartment in Sotogrande because one of our daughters moved here with her family. (Our other daughter has a chalet in Megeve that she rents out. We first thought about buying a house but we fell in love with the apartment. The quality of the bathrooms is excellent and we love walking in the gardens especially in the evening. Our daughter, Fiona, lives nearby with her husband and 5 children. Her maid cleans our apartment.
