Cortijo el Cura nestles in the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera and boasts stunning views of both the Sierra and the picturesque village of Mojacar. The villa is situated in an acre of safely fenced grounds with a fully landscaped private garden and pool area to the rear. The delightful freeform 100 sq.m. swimming pool has a safe beach style entry, rock slide and cascade and is complemented by an additional children’s splash pool with maximum depth of only 80 cm. Within the garden is a well equipped children’s play area with swings, climbing frame and wooden playhouse. The property enjoys the fabulous country and sea views with great privacy, whilst being conveniently situated only 1km from the village of Turre with its multitude of bars and restaurants. The more extensive facilities of Mojacar Playa are situated only 6km away.

Notes on prices
Please note that the rental cost during the 'winter' months does not include cenral heating. If guests feel that they would need cental heating then this can be provided for an additional £100 per week. For stays of more than 1 week the 'winter' prices do not include a mid stay change of linen and towels. Again this can be provided for an additional £120 per change.

Changeover day
Changeover day during the high season from 23/07/2010 to 02/09/10 is on a saturday. Any other periods are flexible dependant on other bookings.

Utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Lounge with Sky TV and DVD player. Large sofa and recliner chairs.

The guest house can be let in addition to the main villa, bringing the total sleeping capacity to 18.

Notes on accommodation
The property is fully air-conditioned and centrally heated. The air-conditioning is available from 1st June to 1st September as outside of these dates the temperature is not hot enough for the air conditioning to be required. Please note that a 'pre-pay' meter operates on the air conditioning units within the property for which £60 worth of tokens per week will be provided by the owner which is sufficient for sensible use of the system.There is a travel cot and high chair available free of charge to guests should they be required. Guests should request these when booking but should provide their own bedding for the cot. An additional 2 cots and 1 highchair can be provided for an additional £10 per week for each item.

Towels and linen are included and will be changed at the end of each week. Mid stay cleaning is not included but can be arranged locally at a separate charge.

Accessibility
The villa is fully accessible by wheelchair as there is level access to both the main and guest house.

Outside
Cortijo el Cura is set in almost an acre of private gardens with secure fencing and electric gate. Shaded parking is available for 3 cars with space for many more. The superb pool is freeform with a water cascade and kids slide and measures approximately 10m x 10m. There is a fabulous kids play area with swing set, climbing frame and slide and plus wooden play house.

Coast/Beach
Mojacar beach is a 10 minute drive away with Garrucha town's wide sandy beach almost the same distance. The huge beach of Vera Playa is a 15 to 20 minute drive, as is the water park situated there.

Golf
A selection of superb golf courses are situated within easy reach of the property: Cortijo Grande 3km, Marina de la Torre, Mojacar 5km, Valle del Este 7km and Desert Springs 12km. The truly outstanding Playa Macenas golf resort also opens in September 2008 and is situated only 7km away.

Travel
Almeria airport is situated 90km from the villa a drive of around 45 minutes. Murcia and Alicante airports are approximately 1 hour 45 minutes distant.

Distances
The village centre of Turre is 2km from the villa with the more extensive facilities of the spectacular hillside town of Mojacar 6km away. The old Spanish town of Vera and the bustling port town of Garrucha are both reached in under 20 minutes.

Further details
Turre is extremely well equipped as regards to restaurants and bars, it has its own medium sized supermarket, bank and pharmacy.

Booking notes
A 20 percent deposit is required on booking with full payment due 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of £600 is required before arrival.
