Los Flamingos is a prestigious golfing complex located next to Cancelada on the new golden mile approximately half mile inland. Four Seasons Flamingos is the first complex to be built within Los Flamingos by Alanda Homes. The gated complex has lovely gardens in which there are two swimming pools and an infant paddling pool. The five star Villa Padierna Hotel (one of the leading hotels of the world) with its luxury spa facilities is at the centre of Los Flamingos just one or two minutes away and situated on one of the 3 golf courses on Los Flamingos. There is also a new Thalassotherapy (Hotel Selenza) located about 1/4 mile away. The apartment has full remote controlled air conditioning and consists of 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with 3 large balconies. Two bedrooms are on the lower floor and two upstairs. The lounge doors open out onto the front lower balcony with views of the coast and the olive orchard below.

Changeover day
Changeover days are fully flexible. We would ask you to help our cleaners by stripping the beds and leaving all linen and towels in the kitchen.

Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen. Granite work tops, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. Second fridge for drinks.
Living Rooms: Large living/dining room with balcony doors leading to main balcony with table and chairs, canopy and BBQ. Plasma TV that swivels to allow viewing from the balcony. Sky TV , DVD/CD and surround sound system. Fantastic views of the sea and along the coast.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bedding, towels and tea towels are provided (not beach towels). Cleaning is carried out before and after your stay, additional cleaning can be arranged during your stay by arrangement with the apartment manager. Baby sitting services are also available.

 

Notes on accommodation
Please be aware this is a penthouse apartment . There are locks on the balcony doors (using removable keys) however young children should be supervised at all times when on the balconies.

Accessibility
There is a lift up to the apartment's ground floor (2nd floor of the building) however the 1st floor inside the apartment can only be reached using stairs. That means there is access to the lounge, lower balcony, kitchen and two bedrooms (one en suite) for whell chair users.

Outside
Fabulous gardens around the apartment with two pools and a small toddlers pool next to one of them. Parking space in car park under the building, remote keyfob access.

Coast/Beach
The beach is half mile away at the bottom of the hill. There are numerous beaches within a short drive amoungst these Laguna beach - 5 mins towards Estepona, Mistral beach - 8 mins towards Puerto Banus.

Golf
Being the Costa del Sol you are spoilt for choice on golf courses but particularly so on the Los Flamingos resort. There are two 18 hole courses and a 9 hole par 3. There are many others courses within a short drive.

Skiing
Cable water skiing 5 mins away in San Pedro!

Travel
Malaga airport is a 45 min drive along the motorway and Gibraltar arport is 50 mins away. A hire car is recommended. Allow extra time during rush hours which are generally 08.00-10.00 and 17.30-19.30.

Distances
By car you can reach the quaint village of Cancelada in 3 mins, the traditional Port of Estepona in 8 and the thriving entertainment centre of Puerto Banus in 12 mins, while Marbella is just 5 mins after that. For a pleasant day trip you can reach Gibraltar or the beautiful village of Ronda in about 1 hour.

Further details
There are 2 supermarkets, a bakery and flower shop within 2 min drive. There is a parade with several restaurants about 5 mins drive. Estepona is 12 mins away with Puerto Banus roughly the same in the other direction and La Canada shopping centre is 10 mins beyond Banus with roughly 100 shops. A great variey of water sports are on offer at the local beaches, the Selwo Safari Park is a 5 min drive, and the Estepona Equestrian School and riding centre is just down the road. Cableski Marbella, situated in San Pedro de Alcántara is 5 mins away. Our agent can give further tips on a range of activities including golf courses, spa trips, shopping trips and evening shows etc. Feel free to enquire if you book the apartment.

Booking notes
25% non-refundable deposit is required when you book with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival. A £250 deposit is required that must be paid up to 2 weeks before arrival and will be returned within 2 weeks of your departure, assuming no damage is reported by our management agency.
You will be required to check and sign an inventory upon arrival and departure.
A Nintendo Wii is avaliable for use during your stay with a Eur 200 refundable deposit.

We all loved the apartment; were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation and how well equipped it was. Having arrived quite late on the first day, the welcome pack was a really nice touch. What a fantastic and secure location; and how picturesque!
