Two self contained, self-catering apartments with truly spectacular views over the valley to the mountains and a beautiful swimming pool with waterfall and sun terrace. The local village is 15 mins walk away through the olive groves (or 2 mins by car). A fully equipped kitchen in the attached hotel produces superb Spanish food created by our staff from the local village and this is available at extra charge for you to eat on your terrace or in your studio. Situated on the first floor both apartments have their own separate entrances. There is an interconnecting door which can be used if both apartments are being rented by friends or a family. Each has cooking facilities, electric heating and hot water. A welcome pack will be in your studio when you arrive, including olive oil, bread, water, milk, wine, eggs, bacon, butter, orange juice, tea, coffee etc. The location is ideal for visits to the beautiful cities of Cordoba, Jerez, Seville, Ronda and Granada.

Changeover day
The studios are available for bookings of 3 nights or more. No changeover day is applicable.
Notes on accommodation
Both studios have electric heaters for winter nights and fans for the summer. All bedding, bathtowels, handtowels and pool towels are included.
Outside
The studios are sited in 30 acres of olive groves and scrubland providing habitat for birds and wildlife in general.
A 10m x 5m kidney shaped pool is available for the use of the 2 apartments shared only with the owners.
Travel
There are now many low cost airlines flying into Malaga, Jerez, Granada and Seville; all of which are 90 mins or less from Algamitas.
Car hire is definitely recommended via the airport at which you arrive.
Distances
Algámitas is 15 mins walk, or 2 mins by car. There is wonderful walking in the area. The real Andalucia is here. The Moorish cities and Pueblos Blancos are all around us.
Further details
The studios are just 1 kilometre from and overlook the village of Algámitas with a population of just over 1000 people - several shops, many bars, a church, the village square and 2 banks (both with ATMs): an agricultural community with the emphasis on olives as well as mixed cereals and sunflowers.
The studios have their own access road, parking, mains electricity, piped water supply and are entirely private. The walking in the area is through beautiful countryside varying from olive groves to mountain tracks. The studios are within easy reach of the “Pueblos blancos”, which are the famous Moorish white villages. There are opportunities for photography, bird watching, painting, horse riding and many other activities.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required, which can be transfered to either our English or Spanish bank accounts. The remainder is payable on arrival.

About the owner
We have lived in this beautiful part of Andalucia since 2003. We decided to make the move from the UK once our family had fled the nest, and we wanted a new challenge. Having travelled extensively over the years we try to offer the type of holiday that we enjoy and hope our guests are of a similar mindset.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We chose this part of Spain because we love the Spanish culture and the relaxed way of life. We have integrated into the local community and have made many Spanish friends. Although this is a very rural area, the road network is great and we are within easy reach of Malaga, Seville, Ronda, Cordoba, Jerez, Granada plus all the "Pueblos Blancos". If you don't want to do too much driving our local station is only 15 minutes away, and in just over 30 mins there is the station for the fast train which will get you to Madrid in around 2 hours.
With 4 airports within easy reach, we couldn't be better placed to make the most of your time here.

As we live on site we are able to help our guests if they require any help or advice while they are staying here. Running an hotel along side the apartments means we are able offer many extras that lots of self-catering accommodation can't offer.
