The property is on a complex with communal pool and smaller pool for children. It is a 10 mins walk to the beach with beach bars, restaurants and a marina. There are 2 supermarkets close by, 1 with a bar and internet access. The sandy beach is great for children, the sea is shallow and warmer than the Med, also making it great for watersports. The La Manga Strip is 10 minutes drive with a full range of bars, restaurants and nightlife. Los Belones is just over a mile and also has a good range of restaurants and bars. The La Manga Club is a 10 minute drive with three championship golf courses, plus spa, tennis, bowls, restaurants and bars. There is also many other golf courses in the area. Campoamor, Villamartin, La Finca, Los Rambles, Altorreal, La Marquesa, Fuente Alamo, Mosa Trajectum, La Serene, Rhoda. The area is a haven for all watersports with good instruction available.

There is no minimal rental period however there is a minimal rental charge of £135.
Rentals of 6 days or less subject to a £45 cleaning charge.
Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible.
If apartment free prior and on the last day of your holiday you may have the apartment on arrival and until you leave. If not you will be given the keys by 4, earlier in possible and asked to leave by 10, later if possible.

Coast/Beach
It is a ten minute walk to the beach, which is a sandy beach, which is very swallow and great for children.
There are a couple of beach bars and a few restuarants.
The beach in on the Mar Menor, the largest natural pool in the world and a paradise for all types of watersports. The Mar Menor is about 5 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean. The area itself boasts 315 days of sunshine.
Golf
The whole area has many excellent courses the most well known being the La Manga Club with 3 championship golf courses.
Other courses in the area Rhoda, La Serene, Campoamor, Villamartin, La Finca, Lose Rambles, Altorreal, La Marquesea, Fuente Alamo, Mose Trajectum, Torre Pacheco.
Travel
The nearest airport is Murcia and is about 20 km.
We usually recommended a car to our guests but it is not a problem should you not wish to do so, as there is a gentleman in our block that with advance booking will collect and return you to the airport, payble direct in Spain.
He is also happy to be your taxi service while you are on holiday, payable direct in Spain.
During the summer there is a bus from Mar de Cristal to local areas.

Los Belones about 2 km, 5 minute drive, varied restuarants, bars and small shops.
Calblanque nature reserve, 10 minute drive.
Cabo de Palos, 15 minute drive, charming fishing harbour with superb fish restaurants with good Sunday market.
Cartagena, 30 minute drive, with port, good shopping, departmental store and hypermarkets.
Murcia, capital of region about 1 hour.
La Manga Strip for nightlife, bars, restaurants, and watersports 15 minute drive.
La Manga Club, 10 minute drive.
