This exclusive Hacienda del Sol apartment complex is situated alongside the 5*Marriott Playa Andalucia on the new Golden Mile between Marbella/ Puerto Banus and Estepona. Within the gated, landscaped grounds there is a large swimming pool and a separate paddling pool for children. The quiet beach is an easy 5 minute stroll along a pedestrian walkway and has two beach bars and water sports facilities available. Many restaurants and shops are within 10 minutes walk, also the fabulous marina and designer shopping at Puerto Banus can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

Changeover day
Arrivals from 3pm - vacate by 10.00am on day of departure. If apt is vacant on those days then this restriction need not apply. Flexible changeover days making it easier to save on flights. Meet and greet service can be arranged although not necessary.

Please note apartment not equipped for children under 5. This is a strictly no smoking apartment. Smoking is only permitted on the terrace when all doors and windows to apartment are closed.
There is a selection of Tourist Guide Books, Road Map, Spanish/English Vocab, cool box for your use, all of which you are welcome to take out and about with you. There is also a foot pump to inflate beach toys, lilos etc.

Accessibility
Lift access to apartment. Well paved level paths within the grounds and easy walkway access to the beach. Free parking just outside and there are plenty of free spaces at anytime so parking never a problem.
Outside
Landscaped gardens and walkways. Large shared pool and separate children's pool. Free use of tennis courts within the complex (2 tennis racquets in the apt.) Free use of gym and there is free wifi in our apartment and also in the area of the gym and jacuzzi.
Coast/Beach
Local beach, quiet, adjacent to nature reserve, mostly sandy with some pebbles reached by a pedestrian walkway. 2 good beach bars serving meals and drinks, children's play ground area. Nearby San Pedro, Marbella and Estepona all have long stretches of sandy beach with beach bars and esplanades. Gibraltar and the Atlas Mountains of Africa can be seen from this coastline.
Golf
Costa del Sol boasts perhaps the highest concentration of high quality golf courses in Europe. El Paraiso Golf Club and Atalaya Park are very local and Atalaya Golf is in nearby Benahavis.
Travel
Nearest airports are Malaga and Gibraltar - both about 50 minutes drive. Car hire is recommended. We use Record Car Rental from Malaga Airport and this can be found on the internet. We can arrange Airport transfers for you should you prefer not to drive.

About the owner
I live in England with my husband Steve and we have two sons Glen is 24 and Adam is 19. My husband and I both work but try to spend most of our holidays in our beautiful apartment. As we use the apartment ourselves, it is very well equipped. Steve says it stops me packing the kitchen sink as I'm not one for 'making do' when I'm on holiday.

We like the location The property is just a 5 minute level walk to a quiet beach with a lovely beach bar. There are plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance.
