Villa Nieves is a beautifully restored house in the pretty traditional village of Niguelas. It is a spacious house designed in a rustic style but with all the modern comforts. The living area of the house measures over 200 sq.m. with a very large reception room and kitchen. There is a large patio with an outside dining area pool (5.5 x 2.5m) and for the cooler months the house has central heating and an open fire. The living room balcony has magnificent views of the village and the renowned Lecrin Valley. Dramatically located beneath the peaks of the Sierra Nevada the ski resort can be reached in under an hour and with the Costa Tropical only 30 minutes away Villa Nieves makes a wonderful holiday home no matter what the season.

Notes on accommodation
The sleeping accommodation is on the ground floor and is made up of 2 twin bedded rooms and 2 doubles.
The doubles have en suite shower rooms and 1 has a small mezzanine area with 2 single mattresses giving a total sleeping capacity of 10. There is also a shared bathroom with a full size bath – perfect for soaking after a hard days walking or skiing.
The heart of the house is the large country style kitchen, this is fully equipped and has a dining table with space for 10. The living room is reached from here up a curved staircase with a spectacular forged iron balustrade. This has a balcony with views of the valley and the village and is furnished with comfortable seating. It is equipped with satellite television and DVD player. There is also a WC upstairs.
Outside
French doors from the kitchen lead out to the terracotta paved patio and the private pool (5.5m x 2.5m). This has sun loungers, a barbecue and an area for dining al fresco. There is also a second fridge for refreshments.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach resort to Villa Nieves is Salobreña, just 30 mins drive away. An easy drive to have a wonderful fish lunch on the beach and wander around the old town.
Skiing
The resort of Sierra Nevada is about 45 minutes away on an excellent road. Well organised and extensive it provides something for all skiers alike.
The season begins in early December and lasts until May. So can be possible to ski in the morning and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon, at certain times of year.
Travel
The nearest airport is Granada at just over half an hour and Malaga which is 1.5 hours away by car.
Car hire is strongly recommended.

Costa Tropical, 25 minutes.
Granada and the Alhambra, 25 minutes.
Ski resort, 45 minutes.
Further details
Villa Nieves is located in Niguelas, a traditional working village with shops, bars and a restaurant. It is a sleepy place in the winter months coming alive as the weather gets warmer becoming quite lively in the summer. Set just below the Sierra Nevada mountains and on the edge of the Lecrin Valley make it ideal for walkers. Also the pan-European GR7 walking route runs close by.

Deposit of a third of the total to be paid on booking.
This deposit is non-returnable in the event of cancellation less than 6 weeks before the period booked.
Final payment to be made by bank transfer 6 weeks prior to travelling.
